they are big, not small at all. and big means big. 5 liters of water will come very easily. first i was returning it (as they are bigger than expectation) but i found them useful later.. good bowls.. NOT FOR COOKING.. do not put them on flame.. they are good for vegetable/fruits washing, rice or lentil washing/soaking, dough making.. etc
