I read the reviews & ended up reinforcing the seams before I gave it to her. She's 4, so I knew it would get a lot of hard use. It's a nice weight, washes fine. Nice priced. I always give themed gifts & this was perfect to give a long with the children's book How To Catch A Mermaid. The first night, she insisted on sleeping in her mermaid tail, so yes, she really likes it.

I bought this mermaid tail blanket as a Christmas present for my 5year old daughter. She loves it soo much! The fabric is super soft and the colorful design is perfect! She can put her little feet inside the “tails”. I’m considering buying another one of the other designs for her birthday.

My Granddaughter wanted this so bad and "like now" ! ;)Her birtheay was 15th of October, so instead of making her wait util Christmas I purchased it for her 6th Birthday. This blanket is soft and lightweight. Easy to wash and very comfortable. My daughter loves the design of the mermaid tail and the color is true to the pictures.
