Q: My son lost his removable center tile. Can I order a replacement for that tile?

The cubes are very cheap unless you have an expensive GAN they can find the ipiece needed

It did come with some literatures but I think YouTube has much comprehensive and intuitive videos that will help you solve them.

Q: Can you twist just a corner piece?

I don't understand what you mean with a twist of one corner. You can twist any of the eight corner . If you have all the cube solve with just a corner with issue... is probably somebody disassembled the cube and reassembles bad
