Works just as well as imodium for half the price. This is a go-to. However, getting into the plastic packaging is a whole thing.

Product is great, same as the name brands. The annoying blister packs are tough to avoid—most of these products are sold in those hard-to-open packages. I wish they would simply come loose in a bottle.

This is a generic product that has worked well for decades at low cost. In recent years the government has required that every pill be individually packaged (the adult dosage is two or more) - this, I believe, is to protect people who want to abuse the drug and might overdose in their efforts to get high by making the pills difficult if not impossible to open. The government functionaries who came up with this apparently believe that those trying to get high are less patient than those who are sick.This is my third purchase of this brand. In the past I've had to use scissors to cut around three sides of each plastic blister in order to extract one pill. The manufacturer has now added instructions on exactly where and how to use scissors to cut small notches in the blisters so they can fairly easily be ripped open. Still a pain, but much, much easier.
