Lessons to be learnt
Another great catchup with these two.I’m loving how this author is bringing out the facts, the anxiety and fear plus trepidation of people finding out you are gay or bisexual in this story. How that person needs to find out and be sure themselves first, not only that, but there’s no timeline in telling anyone. After all, we don’t announce, hey, I’m heterosexual! At a young age here where you are afraid of your peers not liking you anyway these have other fears doubling that. The closeness and support they give each other is so heartwarming.Lessons to be learnt in this series of books for sure

One of my all time favourite series!
I love this series, I cannot praise it enough. The topics it coversI feel are so relevant from dealing with sexualities at a young age to different mental health issues. It is literally impossible not to fall in love with Nick and Charlie (also they're friends). The characters are all diverse which I love as books should be normalising LGBTQ+ characters and giving them air time. So big up the representation. My bff, who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community has literally given her heart to this series and loves what Alice Oseman has created. These books are super quick to read, I read both Vol 2 and Vol 3 in the same day in a matter of hours, the graphics are easy to follow and you can't help but get attached to the story. When I read these there was two weeks left before Vol4 was released. It's very rare I drop my current read for a just delivered book but you can bet that's what I did for Vol 4.I need more of this series immediately. I highly recommend anyone of any age group reads this series. It has so much potential to help teenagers see they are not alone but also do the same for an older audience.

Great portrayal of coming out
Charlie and Nick are now officially boyfriends, and they are the cutest couple ever! We watch as Nick finds the courage to tell his mum but there are a lot of other people to tell, and this explores themes around this and the feelings both characters have surrounding this. They go on a school trip to Paris where Nick tries to meet up with his dad but it doesn’t work out. They have a great time away though and spend quality time with their friends. The plot is developing well, and the characters grow with each book. Heartstoppers describe the feelings and emotions of the characters well and in-depth, surprisingly well for a graphic novel with very few words. This volume also looks at how things can be easier with someone you love by your side.

Excellent!
This was another amazing volume.I love so many of the characters and their interactions are so realistic and well done. The friendships, romance and family aspects of this are all so different from each other, and there isn't a "happily ever after" in the way a lot of books present one. Nick and Charlie have a lot to overcome, and this was a really incredibly written volume covering how difficult it can be to come out to family and friends. On a personal level, I found this volume hard to read as there was also a discussion of mental health on two topics that hit extremely close to home and echoed a lot of things that were very familiar. This was really well presented with a focus on healing and discovery and support and it really made me cry, and I felt very overwhelmed by it, but in a good and bad way!As usual, I loved the art and story and how the topics in here were addressed. Can't wait for volume 4.

Cant praise this series enough!
Another great volume to this series. Still packed with all the fuzzy feels and taking us on Nick and Charlie's journey. It's just so easy to fall in love with these characters and smile with then and feel sad with them.
