As my title suggests, I am over the moon with my purchase! My first ever pair of Dr Martens shoes ( I own plenty of boots ) and they do not disappoint. Get a good box of plasters to last you through the breaking in period though, Dr Martens are renowned for killing your feet for a couple of wears, but it's totally worth it. They fit just perfectly and look awesome on.

Extremely fast shipping - received the product in just 3 days. True to fit - if you're a 9, definitely go for the 9. Docs are pretty infamous for their breaking in process to which I'm enduring through right now, but the aesthetic of the shoes make it worth the process. Long black socks recommended to wear with the shoes; you might also might want to wear another layer of socks underneath the black socks during the break in period as the heel portion does dig in and cut the skin. Will show creases after walking in them for a week, but that's because it's made out of leather - it's expected. Little bit on the heavy side, but that's how docs enforce their unique walking style to people. $10 less than your local shoe store - well worth the purchase!

Preso il numero 39, dopo che avevo il modello senza stringhe gialle e misura 38 (siccome non ho proprio un 39 giusto ma quasi ma le Dr Martens non le fanno in mezze misure) che si era rivelato giusto con calzini corti leggeri ma troppo stretto quando mettevo un ulteriore paio di calze (e anche più pesanti) durante i mesi autunnali e invernali. Questo invece è perfetto e la forma è diverso rispetto all'altro modello, la punta avanti mi sta perfetta (ed è più alta e spaziosa) e sorprendentemente anche la pianta, che mi pare giusta rispetto al vecchio modello nonostante, paradossalmente, è appunto di un numero in più. Ho i piedi magri e fini e ho sempre provato con un paio di calze più grosse proprio perché uso queste scarpe in inverno (massimo inizio primavera, le sconsiglio in estate), ma se invece indossate sempre solo un paio di calze basse leggere (tipo fantasmini), allora in quel caso la scarpa sta parecchio larga (soprattutto nella zona plantare, a meno che non abbiate i piedi grossi/tozzi, in quel caso attenetevi al vostro solito numero) e dovreste prendere un numero in meno rispetto al vostro numero di base. Tenendo conto che, appunto, se poi viceversa mettete calze più pesanti probabilmente vi staranno strette come successe a me. Da valutare solo questo quindi, soprattutto per chi ha i piedi stretti come me, al di là della lunghezza. Ottima qualità, originali, arrivati perfettamente integri! L'unico neo è che non capisco perché la soletta va fino a metà della scarpa e poi niente, anche se poi non cambia nulla a livello di sensazione ma mi chiedevo il perché.
