It’s a screw down your phone system and not a pull to extend but it keeps the phone locked like a rock so you can shoot in peace.

Good quality product but the bracket is a bit flimsy
Overall it is good quality however when you mount the phone on tripod everything is stable except for the thin plate where you see Neewer logo printed in the picture. Although all the fixation is firm and stable but this plate is thin material and keeps vibrating for few seconds after you stop touching the phone. As a workaround I am using only one part of this mount (which clamps the phone) and screwing it directly to the bullhead of tripod. That way I am not using the flimsy part and I am getting firm mounting.
