La Sombra del Viento / Shadow of the Wind

The book is available in English but, if you can, read it in the original Spanish. You won't be disappointed.

I did not know Zafon at all as a writer before reading this book and I really enjoyed it up to a certain point then, over half way through, I guessed the identity of the masked mystery man and everything became very predictable and too Gothic. I loved the idea of a cemetery of forgotten books and the narrator's growing up pains but the final melodrama/s became a bit too much for me

What a beautiful book I loved second time that I read it and better than the first one.

Excellent quality for a great price, top notch.
