We have a mix of hape, brio, and thomas wooden train tracks and sets. This 3-part train fits in perfectly on the tracks. It's a fun little set since it also comes with two people (engineer and passenger) as well as two small accessories (go/stop sign and suitcase). I worry that the small accessories might easily get lost, but overall am quite pleased at all you get in this one purchase. Very fun!
