Great for fine hair. Light hold
I’ve used this product for 20 years and it is my favorite! Since it’s hard to find in stores, I’ve strayed from time to time and tested other products, but I always come back to this one. I have very fine straight hair and this product offers light hold and volume without being sticky, tacky, heavy, or greasy. It provides a tiny bit of shine and holds down frizzy flyaway strands. I use a tiny dime-sized amount in damp hair and then comb it through. It really is magic!

Leaves here soft and manageable.
I've been using texturizer for years on top of a body perm and it leaves my hair soft and manageable but when I am due for another perm I need to temporarily switch to a more controlling product like a gel, until I get my new perm!

Amazing product
Not sticky but creates shine and texture def way better than a gel... price is up there but Sebastian is for the most part worth it

I have the worst fine hair
I have the worst fine hair, impossible to find products that work. This one does and has reliably since I starting using it in about 2009. It's protein-based with no build-up and, if you don't overdo it, is not sticky and gives enough body and hold to keep you going while looking natural. I've tried others over the years, but keep coming back - this is my trusted go to!

Bottom part came off spilling out the gel
I only used it once, it seems to give a good body, smells very good, I love Sebastian productsThe only problem as I opened the bottle , 1/4 fell on the ground, the bottom part came off, (it’s a gel similar to jello) I ‘ve to clean my wooden floors with vinagre and alcohol to avoid falling.

The best!
The best texturizer out there! One pump is all I need to give my hair that piecey, rockstar look I'm going for. Smells great, washes out great. It holds all day with no stickiness. Also it does well with a straightener, and does not gunk it up with build up over time. Also so much cheaper on here than from the salon. Will never use or even try another texturizer product!

More like a "De" Texturizer
I bought this product hoping to find a less expensive alternative to Redkin Wool Shake, which is costing me over $20/month. Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for this product. My hair is very fine/straight/limp, and does not do ANYTHING without significant hair product investment. The first time I used this product, I was dismayed to discover that it made my hair even softer than it already was, which added absolutely NO texture and very very minimal body. This product is a pump (not spray), so you have to rub it on your hands and then rub your hands through your hair. As I blow dried my hair, I noticed that the hair was super silky smooth - almost like what your face feels like after applying a face serum. While it felt nice to the touch (definitely NOT sticky), my hair was totally limp and I could not do a thing with it. I tried it a couple more times, thinking I just needed to figure out the "trick" to this product. After all...how could there possibly be so many wonderful reviews on it? Maybe this product works for folks with different hair types than mine, but for very fine/straight/limp hair, this is NOT going to add any texture to your hair whatsoever. Your hair will feel silky soft, and not sticky, but it's going to be flat flat flat. I'm definitely returning it and will likely go back to Wool Shake, and see if there are any options on getting it in a more cost effective size than the current 5oz bottle. It's a wonderful product (*definitely* adds texture), albeit expensive.
