Perfect for wearing at home to keep warm and save on heating costs
Loving these! Arrived this week, I got just in time for a drop in temperature here in the UK. My heating is off (to cut down on the now ridulousy high energy bills) and I am warm in my legs at last. Top half already sorted. Just the feet to keep warm now....solution to this in the post. Only "down"side to these are that they are down. I think I'll be wearing them at home until March. Have some leggings underneath to hopefully avoid washing for as long as possible but I know they will need washing at some point. I'm an XS (8) usually, these are XS and fit perfectly for me. I'm 5"7 and they are tiny bit short but no problem as wear leg warmers below them and my new slipper boots arriving soon have a toggle that will keep all the air in. Will keep a look out for trousers like this that are synthetic insulation. No mention of animal welfare too unlike other goose down products. Would choose synthetic if I could find it.

Toasty and Warm
So these are quite marvellous - I have been wearing a pair of joggers over long johns to survive the thermostat at 15 degrees C and it still feels chilly especially when its raining out. As soon as I put these on over the long johns, it was like someone had switched the heating full on. I don’t know if they will last, but they are very light, quite thin, (packs into a small box), are very comfortable, and has a silky sheen that does not look cheap at all. SIZE: I am a 5’6” slim male and usually order a size S but have had so much problems with tiny cuts in items made in China that I ordered a Medium just in case. I should have ordered S as these are a bit long and quite loose/voluminous. Maybe they will shrink in the wash ….. but for lounging around in, they will be fine. So: ORDER YOUR NORMAL SIZE. And - if you are a Plus Size, they will fit fine as they are really quite “blousy”. My only criticism, the elastic waist tightener has a front sliding catch on the outside - well it doesn’t work. When you use it to try to hold the elastic, it just slides right back, so you cannot tighten. It’s fine inside the house, but if you’re thinking of wearing it outside, and put anything heavy in the pockets, be prepared for embarrassment. And having just got them, I don’t know if the elasticated waist will gradually loosen, because if it does, this will become a problem. I may well thread a webbing drawstring band through where the ineffective elastic tightening band is right now so I can tie the waist as necessary. So all in all, four stars mainly because of the waist. But buy a couple for home for the environment ….

Sizing go by inseam
These are warm and compress well in the pack. Not as good as more expensive ones but good value. Sizing - I went by the inside leg as they have generous adjustment for my waist. The only problem was the cord grip wasn't very strong so I replaced it. It has two side pockets and a back pocket which was a pleasant surprise. Paired with down socks and a down jacket it makes for a cosier night in the tent.

Warm Trousers.
First off I am 5/11 with a 36 inch waist so went for the XL size, this size I found to be perfect for me. Out the bag the quality of materials and build seemed to be very good, they are light enough to carry in a backpack but only down side for me is they are not as compressible as Id have liked but will work around this. In all will use them for wild camping on cold nights and I am sure they will do the job.

Comfortable mild warmth
The xs size fits size 8 very well and they add a nice comfortable warmth compared to ordinary trousers or jeans. They're also not too bulky. Very pleased with them and hope they'll also wash well. They're advertised as goose down but the label on the trousers states 90% duck down, 10% feather.

Klare Kaufempfehlung.

For the price paid, I believe that I did get the best down filled pants on the market. I do lots of winter activities such as snowboarding, snowshoeing, and occasionally ice fishing with my friends. Those Canadian people who experienced the last winter shall know that we do need a pair of warm & light winter pants just in case. Thus I have been searching around looking for a good deal for a decent pair of insulated pants. Apparently most of the down filled pants are quite pricy, and this one seems to be outstanding in terms of the price. After two weeks of wearing, following is my impression to these pants. My priority is whether it keeps me warm or not. Man, I can pretty much walk outdoor like an hour with it no problem. The previous winters I have been wearing a long johns underneath my jeans or dress pants, but this new down fill pants does perform a great job without them. Meanwhile, unlike other insulated or fleece pants, it is really light that maintains a high mobility for me. I believe it only weights around 1 lb. The material of this pants, ho ho, my favorite topic. The filling are 90% down and 10% feather. That’s why they are so warm and light. I check the sewing: everything is great – after two weeks of wearing, I found no “leaking” of the downs out from the pants. The pants can be easily compressed to fit an outter shell layer such as ski or hunting pants, which makes it such a nice bonus for the winter activities. Being a guy that’s 175cm(5 feet 9)/68kg(150lb), I find the size M fits just right on. However, I usually wear size small with other brands. Therefore, it is important to first read the size chart provided on the product description picture. I recommend go up one size in general (e.g. if you wear medium size regularly, please consider size L for these pants). It is very comfortable when wearing the correct size. Well, the look… It’s a pair of insulated pants, let’s just focus on the warmth LOL. If I must comment about the look and cutting: it is puffy, but which winter pants are not? These pants are impressive as I said, however, I also wanna share some room of improvements: 1. I try to be extremely picky on the build/material of the pants, so be honestly, I think the zipper could be made with a better quality. The current zipper pull clips on the side pocket is a bit too thin, which means I must really be careful not to pull to hard and damage them. 2. I may not agree that these pants are fully waterproof. Based on the material, I would probably call it water resistant. If I go snowboarding/skiing, I will prefer to wear a ski pants outside. 3. The point above triggers the question of washing instruction. I am not necessary agreeing these pants are water washable. I think the manufacturer shall kindly provide a proper cleaning/caring instruction for the down filled pants. After all, the price is still considered relatively higher than the regular jeans/dress pants. Proper cleaning can make the pants last longer. In conclusion, so far I am very happy with these warm and comfortable pants I got for outdoor activities. I believe they are going to be my favorite for the next few winters.

I am 1.83cm tall, 77kg and bought the medium, it fitted perfectly - that was a guess, since the size chart doesn’t make sense at all It’s nicely made and very light weight
