Absolutely love these ..
I originally bought the three-piece set of hard side containers. They are great , but I really love these collapsible ones. I just bought the 2 quart and 4 quart size. These truly do keep your vegetables and fruits fresh a lot longer. I like to buy the mini carrots and if you keep them in a bag they seem to get kind of slimy on the outside pretty fast. I have one container that has been full of carrots for about five or six weeks now. About once a week I take out the container , rinse off the carrots and put fresh water in the bottom. They are nice and crispy and appear as fresh as when I bought them. One of the containers hold three bell peppers very nicely. And when I get down to that last half, I collapse the container to store that last little bit in there without taking up a lot of room and still keeping it fresh. I highly recommend these, but I would definitely suggest that you make sure you were getting the prepworks by progressive brand, as they have a couple other brands out there that looked just like them, even the same colors. One even starts with the word prep works but they are not the same, and warranties on them are not as good. I have six of these so far and intend to get a couple more. They stack nicely in the refrigerator, and are easy to store especially if you collapse them. I store mine on their sides in a row. Absolutely love these

Very convenient
This product was received rapidly and in good shape. It worked properly like it should. It is convenient to use expanded for vegetables then collapses to a smaller size for storage. We had one previously that worked for years and finally wore out. We were glad to get this replacement.

I like it, but...
...the first one I received from Amazon had a product defect right out of the gate. It arrives in compacted shape and as I was extending it I noticed the upper portion of the silicone green sides separated from the clear acrylic upper portion and I had to contact Amazon to return. They promptly replaced the item and paid for my return postage for the defective one. Because of this problem I'm reluctant to compact it unless I really need to. I feel the less this product is messed around with the better. When I travel to my vacation home I'll want to have this along and will compact it then, but otherwise I'll leave it in extended form. I'm pleased with it as a produce keeper - the 2 qt. truly held 2 qts. of strawberries and seems to extend the life by a couple of days. I like being able to rinse and store in the same container. I myself have not had the problems with the bottom cover as others here have mentioned.I'm not sure I would purchase this same container again unless I saw it at a killer price. I'd most likely seek to purchase the non-collapsible type instead based on the problem I had since I'm not really collapsing it anyway.

Best grape storage ever
I like crisp, crunchy grapes. This container takes so-so grapes and makes them delicious!! Wish they would bring back the bigger size. People complained about the silicone cracking but I would buy a new one every year if it kept my grapes fresh and not having to throw them in the trash.

Broken after 2 uses
I purchased this item last winter, used it once, liked it well enough....but then it unfortunately ended up in the back of a cabinet & I forgot about it for a few months. The second time I used it, a few inches (so most of one side) of the top of the green portion completely separated from the clear plastic above it. I tried to stick it back together, thinking maybe it was designed to just pop back into place, but no luck. It seemed that perhaps the sealant had melted in the dishwasher (as a prior reviewer commented), though I'd kept it on the top rack--or maybe that the manufacturer just forgot to seal it all the way around. It was too late to return it, and I thought I could still get some use out of it if I handled with care. But after another 1 or 2 uses, the green portion also separated from the bottom tray, which meant a few blueberries I was rinsing fell out the side, even though I'd only thrown in a small handful. Into the garbage it goes. Sigh.Based on the mostly positive reviews, I probably just got a lemon - so if you purchase this, make sure you start regular use right away so you can make sure you find any flaws before it's too late.

Nice Keeper - Shape Limits Capacity
I like this keeper, and it does work as advertised.PROS:1. Fruit and Produce last significantly longer when stored in this keeper.2. The keeper is easy to use, with easy to follow recommendations on how to keep different items stored. (Water/No Water, Vent Open/Closed)3. It collapses down to a small package for easy storage.CONS:1. The "collapse" function comes at a price. As you can see from the photo, the walls are tapered inward quite a bit. Not surprisingly, this tapering reduces the amount of food you can fit inside. (Meaning, you could store more food in the same amount of "footprint" space if the walls were vertical.)OTHER INFO:1. The bottom cover on the keeper I received fits well. I've read other reviews that indicated the cover would/may fall off - spilling the water that was inside.2. The Lid is a hard plastic lid that just sits on top. It does not snap in, or grip the upper rim. I have not had a problem with it, but if you are accustomed to other keepers that have rubber lids that firmly grip the container, you may be surprised by this.BOTTOM LINE:This keeper works well & collapses down to a very easily stored size/shape.
