nice gym shorts
I have been looking for a pair of gym shorts with a one inch inseam. These are the ones, just like gym class back in the 60's. They are very short, and you will show off your legs wearing these. But isn't it about time we guys started doing so again. More freedom of movement rather than having all that material hanging down the legs with longer shorts. I also like the split side feature. These compare in quality to other brands, and they are made in America. I have the Soffe and the Pudolla shorts and like them a lot too. They both have a 2.5 inch inseam but these BOA shorts have a one inch inseam. I'm 5'8" and 170 lbs and bought the small. I always buy small (if possible) in running shorts. I could have gone with the medium but opted for the small. The outer shell fits loose enough. They fit good. Not to tight in the waist. Nice stretch to the waist band. I don't understand the tie cord in them. It's a loop rather than string to tie together. I don't need to use it so it's no big deal. So I like everything about these shorts except the liner. I like the way the liner fits, not to tight not to loose. Just enough room to secure my information yet let them be free. It's the color of the liner. I bought the black shorts and it comes with an off white/ borderline gray liner. Kind of ugly. I knew this when I bought them and thought I'd either put up with it or cut it out and wear one of my bikinis, or thongs under them. I wish BOA would use the same color liner as the outer garment. Yet it won't stop me from buying more. I might go for the navy and the red pair. So guys if you don't mind showing your legs off, then these are the shorts for you.

patterns and fit for the Large size is perfect for him
On this review of the four pairs of BOA Men's 1" Elite Split Leg Printed Running Shorts, that I ordered and received for my husband's birthday, I am impressed with all the colors, patterns and fit for the Large size is perfect for him. He loves them all, because of their support and they wear well. He also, likes the draw string inside the waistband. He loves the colors and that they are so light to run in. Last year was the first year he got two pairs of BOA Men's Printed Running Shorts and loved them so much that he wanted more this year. So, I ordered four pair, all of them are different colors and prints. He wears a Large. He is 6'4", 195 #'s and his waist is 34 inches. We live in a climate of warm weather, so he runs year round. All of the ones I purchased last year look like I just bought them this year. They wear wonderfully, the colors are still bright as new. This is the second year of purchasing BOA Men's 1" Elite Split Leg Printed Running Shorts and my husband is still happy to get these again this year.

He just ran the Boston Marathon in them . No complaints whatsoever.
My husband really likes them. He has a hard time finding running shorts that are comfortable.

Great shorts
These are probably the best running shorts I've had. I ran in them yesterday. They are very light weight and comfortable. I like the high split. They are pretty short and quite sexy. Didn't give them a full 5 stars due to the inadequate liner that I cut out of them. To me the liner is a little too big. I cut it out and wore a thong underneath. If the liner shows any while you run it will probably look like your wearing a diaper.

***Size up from your usual size****
I got these shorts for my son who runs cross country, and these are his favorite shorts. They do run small though so I recommend sizing up at least one size. My son is 145 pounds, 6’ tall and wears a medium in this brand.

Great gym shorts
Love these for working out, running, elliptical, etc. Great ventilation where it matters most. It can be difficult to find shorts that are actually short these days (everyone seems to think I want knee length or longer "shorts" for some reason). These go hard and I love them. Quad squad for life.
