The G26 fits nicely in the pocket with a pocket holster and uses ...
Initial Observations: It's about time! I have been waiting for a light to come out for my Glock 26. I am a Law Enforcement Officer and carry a backup G26 in my cargo pocket while on duty. The G26 fits nicely in the pocket with a pocket holster and uses the same magazines as my full size Glock 17. The only problem I have been facing is with my off duty gun. I wanted to carry the G26 off duty and concealed but really enjoy having a light on my off duty gun (identifying the threat is where people run into problems in low light). I also like the idea of being able to carry the G26 with a full size G17 magazine ready to go should the first magazine fail or I need more ammunition. I just thought a light would never be able to be attached on the pistol due to the pistol not having a rail for attachments. Then I was told about this set up, the TLR-6. I have always enjoyed Streamtlight products. I have never had issues with any of their lights. I have Streamlights on my duty pistol and patrol rifle (M4) already. So, I ordered the TLR-6. The light also had the built in laser, which I was not wanting too much, but I found out the laser can be turned off if you want it turned off. The light fit on my pistol perfectly. The pistol and the light look like the pistol came that way. It was also a quick and easy 5 minute install. The light was also very bright for the size of the unit.Reliability: I shot a few hundred rounds through the pistol using the light and have not had any issues. The unit feels very durable and turned on and off when I wanted it too.On/Off Button: I did notice the button on the light sits far enough forward that someone with short fingers may have some trouble reaching it. I am 6'2" and have normal size hands for my height. I did not find any problems reaching it, but my wife did. I enjoy the fact that the light is ambidextrous, since I am left handed. I can turn it on and off with my left index finger. I also liked that the on button could be pressed lightly to activate the light and released to turn the light off or you can press the button firmly to have continuous light.Battery: The battery is easy to access with the light on the gun. For sight in, I used the allen wrench it came with to sight it in with my iron sights. This took five minutes and was very simple.Holster: This was almost a deal breaker for me. Unless you are placing it next to your bed, why would you want a light on a gun without a holster? I needed a holster that I could continue doing pocket carry with and I also needed a holster I could use for concealed carry. I like Kydex the best due to moisture issues I have had when using leather for concealed carry. I chose to go with Gladius Holsters ( [...] ). I was told by another cop that they make great products and can make holsters to fit lights on pistols. I was impressed. Gladius made a pocket holster for duty carry and an appendix carry holster for off duty concealed carry. The holsters are very durable and exceeded my expectations. It is strong stuff. I posted a picture of me carrying appendix carry with this light in a holster.Pros: Bright, easy to use, durable, price, fit to pistol, now have holsters for them, easy to install/sight inCons: distance from hand to button

Great product
Purchased for my son-in-law. He had been looking for one when I found this one and he said it fits like a glove.

Excellent laser plus light for a Glock 26 without a rail
For the price, an excellent laser plus light for a Glock 26 without a rail.Appears to hold zero extremely well, and a BIG PLUS -- you can change the battery without removing the TLR-6 and shifting zero! Here's another BIG PLUS -- it has control buttons to turn it on CONTINUOUSLY, unlike Crimson Trace grip buttons that my large fingers can't maintain in an on-state when concentrating, aiming carefully for target work and laser zeroing. The only possible minus, although this is more of a WISH LIST, is:1. Streamlight has no plan for this one with a green laser for better daylight work, even tho it would need a bigger battery. I called them and harrassed them and emailed them and just can't talk them into it.2. A focusable light. Yes, it would cost more, as a green laser would. But being able to set the beam width would be nice.3. It would be GREAT if the laser was above the light! Easier to get a closer trajectory match to the laser over the range this pistol would be used.Knowing more about the durability of this unit would be great, but these few months of shooting have shown no problems. For a holster that fits perfectly for a G26 with the TLR-6, get this right here on Amazon:Blackhawk Size L3. The retaining snap-strap is too short, so you will have to get the longer strap for the same Blackhawk holster for a 45 ACP Colt. Send Blackhawk cus svc a nice email why you need the longer strap -- don't cost much -- and they might send you one free, as they did me.

Its quality
Of course its a streamlight which is the benchmark of weapon lights. This is my first tlr6 but i have many tlr 1's and they all work every time. i have blasted over 2000 rounds by my tlr1 and it shines bright. So this tlr6 with laser works like it should. Attaches to my gl26 finger guard firmly and is easy to operate. Also gives the gl26 IMO a better look.

Great for Glock 26/27 but the laser is WAY off
I love the sleek design that goes well with the glock 26/27. The button is a little distant from the trigger but you build muscle memory practicing with it. It was easy to install, literally just three screws and batteries. DO NOT LOSE THE HEX WRENCH. It is a 0.050 which isn't on most hex sets. The laser is way off, down and to the left by over 3 feet at a 10 ft distance. There is no information outside of the screw holes used to adjust it. It is so far off that adjusting it did nothing and it appears the laser isn't seated properly in its housing.Pros:Easy to installSleek designBright flashlightNo need for railCons:Button is a little bit far from the trigger housingLaser is a pain to setup and had to be rehousedBatteries are not common
