Mapei Flexcolor CQ Ready to use Grout (2 Gallon, Hickory)

Yes, the grout is pricey (you can find much better prices if you shop around), but as an amateur DIYer/tiler, it was the bomb! I was more than pleasantly surprised how well it spread and cleaned up. And that was with mosaic tile, too, which seems to eat up the grout. I'm looking forward to using Mapei flexcolor with more tile projects. One word of warning, though: make sure that you actually get the color you ordered. I first ordered Sahara beige and soon thereafter ordered Bahama beige by accident from a different vendor. I never noticed that I used the Bahama Beige until I opened the second bucket, which was Sand, a really light color. Then I looked at the empty bucket and saw that I didn't get the Sahara beige that I had originally ordered, but since I liked the Bahama beige, that worked out. Fortunately I have a tiling project coming up where I will use the Sand, but the bottom line is that at the price of this grout, you need to check and make sure you've gotten the right color.

This stuff works the best I will not use anything else but this from now on. Easy to use give a little mix and start grouting. I used this on a textured porcelain tile and was worried I would not be able to float the excess off the tile in time before it dried and that was not the case. I talked to a wonderful mapei tech rep and asked a bunch of questions and one of the questions was can I use it on glass mosaic tiles and he said it was not recommended as it would scratch the glass because of the quartz that is in the grout. That was not the case I tried it in a small spot and it worked. All in all I would recommend this to the happy home owner or the pros this stuff is the real deal as I have used epoxy , sanded grout and now flex color cq and this by far is the best. See the attached pictures of my handy work. As you can see I had a lot of grout joints on this project just under 2 gallons.

After watching several YouTube videos about tiling (my first time).. I concluded that this was the best grout to buy. ( ease of application/cleaning/removing )..So far I agree. It was pricier but I hope worth it in the long run and this was one of the few items I spent money on for the quality

This stuff is fantastic. Costly but worth the extra dollars due to it never leaking and being super easy to clean/maintain. It is very easy to use on floors, more difficult on walls. It is sandy/gritty and very slick so the walls are a bit more tricky. It will not work in a grout bag- tried it personally. I love the finished product, it shines very nicely. I would definitely recommend this stuff.

This is nice stuff and it looks great. But be sure to work fast and not do too large an area at a time since it dries quickly.

Excelent product! Works good and cleanup is much easier than conventional grout. Does dry pretty fast,would pefer slower drying.

Good grout, really like the color, I've used this in all sorts of different mosaics.

Came out as the exact same color as we put in 10 years ok
