Worth every penny
These mugs are worth every penny, I’ve already ordered a second one. They seem to be in high demand, because whether you’re ordering one from here or from the official website, the wait time for them to arrive requires some patience. Also, color preferences seem to be a tough thing to ensure you get - because they go out of stock so fast. The ‘adobe’ color mug I ordered here in my pictures, for example, appears to be a limited edition color, so I don’t expect to be able to get the same color a few months from now. I was first introduced to this company’s products a couple of months back by a friend. Of course, I had all the usual questions go through my head like, ‘Are these mugs really any better than any of the other mugs on the market? Don’t they all basically do the same thing? Isn’t the asking price a little absurd?’ Well, these mugs really are the best on the market in my opinion. They hold a lot in a much more compact, sleek form factor than other mugs out there. Take a look at the difference between this Fellow mug and my Stanley mug. They’re both 16oz, but the Fellow is so much better in compactness as far as form factor goes. Also, the Fellow has an inner ceramic lining that does indeed make your coffee taste ‘true’ with no stainless steel perception in taste. Let me address the ‘sink stopper’ feature of these Fellow mugs, because I didn’t understand them while I was looking at the pictures, and nobody else on the internet seemed to think it was important to explain their purpose. As if we’re all just supposed to immediately know what they are, what they’re for, and how they work without ever having been exposed to such a design element in coffee mugs before. They are literal, miniature sink stoppers, just like you’ve seen used in kitchen sinks since the 60s. But in this case, Fellow has figured out that the exact same design makes for nifty little splash guards for their mugs. So you slip this miniature little ‘sink stopper’ down into the mouth of your mug, it sort of clips tightly into place, and it prevents heat from escaping while at the same time preventing splashes, but it also serves to slow down the coffee from pouring out all at once when you tip the mug back to drink from it, allowing the coffee you’re about to sip to cool just a little bit before hitting your lips. I wasn’t sure I was going to like this design, but now that I’ve been using my mug for a week or so, I can attest to the fact that it’s a game changer. I highly recommend investing in these mugs if you’re looking for the very best coffee experience in a travel mug option.

Expensive and worth it
It's expensive but is very durable (has held up after a hard drop), and filter lid design is genius, because it locks in heat remarkably well, will prevent splashing, and will catch large tea leaves. I love the clean modern design. It is easy to clean with a bottle brush. Perfect for taking my morning cup of coffee on the road.

High quality travel mug,
Really great travel mug. This mug keeps drinks hot for a very long time. Easy to use and easily fits in drink holder of my car. It came with a removable strainer on top..I stopped using that as it didn’t seem necessary, Also when lid is twisted closed it makes a great seal with no leakage.

Sleek and Functional Travel Mug
The Fellow 16 oz Carter Move Travel Mug is a game-changer for anyone who enjoys their coffee on the go. Here's why I love it: Sleek Design: The mug's slate grey color and minimalist design give it a sleek and modern appearance. It looks stylish and sophisticated whether you're commuting to work or hitting the trails for a hike. Superior Insulation: The vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction keeps my coffee hot for hours, even on the coldest days. I love that I can take my time savoring each sip without worrying about it getting cold too quickly. Ceramic Interior: The ceramic-coated interior not only looks elegant but also helps preserve the flavor of my coffee. Unlike stainless steel interiors that can impart a metallic taste, the ceramic lining ensures a clean and pure taste with every sip. Splash Guard: The built-in splash guard is a game-changer, especially when I'm on the move. It prevents any spills or splashes, allowing me to enjoy my coffee without worrying about making a mess. Easy to Clean: The Carter Move Travel Mug is a breeze to clean, thanks to its wide opening and ceramic interior. I can easily reach every corner to ensure thorough cleaning, keeping it fresh and ready for my next cup of coffee. Overall, the Fellow 16 oz Carter Move Travel Mug combines style and functionality in one convenient package. Whether I'm commuting, traveling, or just running errands, it's become an essential companion for enjoying my favorite beverages on the go.

Very nice, but a pain to clean
I love the feel and build quality of this mug. Overall, it keeps drinks hot, it feels great in the hand, looks classy, does not leak, and most importantly, does not give your coffee a metallic taste because of the ceramic lining. I'm not sure the external coating will hold up over time, but after a few weeks of light use, it still looks great. The other thing to know is that the splash guard is fantastic - it works shockingly well. It looks like a miniature sink drain stopper and you'd think it wouldn't do anything, but I was definitely proven wrong. My only issue is the fact that this mug is not dishwasher safe (I only realized that after buying it) and because of how the neck is designed, it's even a bit annoying to get at with bottle brushes. Please make the next one dishwasher safe and it would be a winner for me!

Compact, Clean, and Confidently Built
The 12 oz Carter Move Mug takes everything I liked about the 16 oz version and refines it into a smaller, easier-to-grab form. It’s perfectly weighted—solid but not heavy—and the matte finish resists fingerprints while keeping the minimalist look intact. The ceramic-lined interior keeps flavors pure, and the splash guard is genuinely useful when moving between rooms or driving. It sips clean, feels premium in hand, and never leaks or drips even when tossed into a bag. The smaller size actually works better for daily use than I expected—it heats faster, cools evenly, and looks right at home on my counter next to the French Press. Another Fellow piece that delivers both function and form. — Curated by Jaded John | #OrderlyCleanDesign

So far so good
As the headline says, so far so good. Haven't had a chance to see how long it lasts, but hopefully I'll update this review in the future. So far, a definite thumbs-up. Pros: --Design is clean and minimalist (I got the 12-oz white version). Also seems very robust and simple - almost nothing to break. It fits well in my car's cupholder (CR-V) and under my coffee machine's outlet nozzle (Keurig K40 - nothing fancy). --Ceramic coating does preserve the flavor. Doesn't taste so odd any more. --Doesn't spill easily. With the lid fully screwed on, I haven't had it spill even when full (just from lightly turning it over a few times in my hands). --Keeps in the heat well. So far the longest I've left coffee in it has been only two hours, but it's done very well keeping things hot. Cons: --While the design is pretty sleek overall, it does require two hands to open the lid when driving, which is a primary use case for me. But it's a minor issue compared to spill prevention. --The lip of the mug (against which you place your lips) is stainless steel, which may get a little chilly, and adds a very slight taste to the coffee. But it would have been really difficult to add a ceramic coating to this part and still keep a good seal and a good price point, so I'm not dinging any points for this. The only thing left to see is longevity. Four stars. Edit 4/14/22: I've used this thing literally every day since I got it. So far only a couple minor dents and dings, and it's held up pretty well. Upgrading to 5 stars. Edit 6/27/23: I'd recommend hand washing (at least the main body of the mug - can probably put the lid and splash guard in the dishwasher). The interior coating is fine, so the taste isn't affected but the exterior coating has started to bubble and flake off after maybe 100 dishwasher cycles. There's also been coating failure spreading from the dents and dings on the top of the main body (just below the stainless-steel lip), which is just normal with use. Again, though, I use this thing literally every day and wash it maybe twice a week in the dishwasher, so I'd say I've gotten my money's worth and am happy with it.
