I debated on whether or not to buy this because I was skeptical of the other reviews (I presumed may not be real). Here is my own review. After examining the ingredients, I decided to order. It seems to be a blend of 5 different ingredients: ginger, turmeric, alfalfa, great yellow gentian & common centaury. After doing some research on the latter three ingredients, I decided to order. I am somewhat of a naturalist & I know a great deal about herbs. I had not heard too much of these last three but after some research I could see they act as stomachics and stimulate appetite. I believe this product works by relaxing the stomach & stimulating more Hydrochloric acid to be secreted. After one hour of taking the pill there is a noticeable effect & greater desire to eat & eat larger portions. I have never taken more than 2 pills per day. I have taken other orexigenics but they made me very tired & have hunger pangs. This product does not trigger the strong pangs but still gets the job done. The first time I took it I had some gas & bloating but this never occured again & I've never had any bad reactions to these pills so far. Overall, this product definitely works & that is a great thing because most products on the market focus on preventing appetite, but this rare product will boost appetite for those looking to eat more meals & larger portions. Anyone struggling to gain weight because of lack of appetite should consider this product. I myself have after 1 week gained nearly 10 pounds (which is awesome). I want to thank VH Nutrition for a great product.

Love this. I have been trying to gain weight for some time, and other weight gainers I’ve tried have made me SO tired. But this is great! I have one pill about an hour before I intend to eat, and by the time my food is ready I’m starving. Allows me to eat much more!
