These fit well and did provide protection against accidental change in the light switch. At the same time it is quite simple to change the light switch as it is open on the side.

Works great in my smart home with dump people inside that is always turning of my smart lights when they could just Clap or ask Alexa.

Simple screw on design. Remove 1, reinsert partially, swing cover up reinsert screw2, tighten. Or you could take both out and play fumble thumbs dropping screws and covers all over. Took me under a minute. Clear plastic looks like it belongs. Not clear from online ad but 1 side is molded plastic with no opening. You stick you finger thru other side. This is great as it adds structural integrity to cover and discourages learned behavior auto switch on - face the solid side toward direction you normally switch on from. . Also makes you think ' do I really want to switch this on?'. Enclosed side also pefect for label.

I'd give this 5-stars if they were completely enclosed, but one side of them is open, allowing anyone to still operate the switch. But it does work as a reminder not to flip the switch, and keeps it from being accidentally turned off. Great for circuits where you've got smart bulbs installed in the fixtures so that they don't get switched off unintentionally, but won't keep someone from intentionally turning them off.

GREAT PRODUCT

I gave them five stars because they actually serve the purpose of what I needed them for. So I don’t hit the wrong switch when I’m walking into a dark room or quickly walking past the switch plate. They actually aren’t child proof because their tiny fingers can reach through the sides of them. They are easy to install. And you can use the covered switch when necessary without removing any part of it.

Well made, and I really like that one side is opened. I used these with motion senor lights. So the fact that it stops people from turning on and off the lights is great. And when I go to bed for the night, I can turn the switch off easily from the opened side so that I' m not waking up every time someone walks around. I recommend placing the opening towards the left, that way it's harder for it to be accidently turned off.

Delivered in two days, pack of 6 switch covers. Easy to install over existing wall plates providing simple protection, but still allowing access through one side of the cover. I'm using to cover switches that need to remain turned on for dusk to dawn exterior security lights.

Perfect for preventing use of switches that shouldn’t be turned on. Elderly parents that have forgetful tendencies can be reminded not to use switches but they can still be accessed when needed. Also good for spaces where they may accidentally be turned on
