Gibson Performance Exhaust 316006 Aluminized Axle Back Exhaust System

I got my cat back exhaust in unddamaged love the chrome tips and how big they were they fit in the rare valance panel perfectly. Easy to install directions were very clear about where to cut the pipes in the fit and finish was great. They sound beautifully it definitely made my Durango sound like I had a tuned exhaust or a much more expensive exhaust than what I have. No drone or very little at any speed that I have been driving at. When you accelerate the it sounds very nice recommend this product. Thank you Gibson exhaust for making my drive better.

These are really good mufflers. or resonaters as they call them. The hardest part was pulling the trigger on the sawzall when cutting the original pipes, knowing if i had measured wrong i was screwed. The instructions were good and tell you exactly how to do it. I didn't have the special tool for disconnecting the rubber hangers ,which made it a little bit difficult, but too hard. Spray a little wd-40 on the hangers where they connect with the metal rods from the pipes and they will slide off much easier. I discovered this when putting the new ones on. It was about a two hour job. They fit just right and sound really good. They have a really good sound, not too loud but better than stock. They don't bother you inside the car when cruising on the highway with that low drone like other systems. Overall a good axle-back exhaust system.

Just got this set installed on my 2023 Durango RT. Looks good and sounds great. Perfect for a cruiser type feel. Very happy with this product.

First the good,,,,the pipes are well made and the tips are larger than stock and look great. The sound is just a little grumble, nothing too much at all and very little drone at cruising speeds Now the not so good. Installation on jack stands is possible but not easy. Make sure you use WD-40 to remove/install the exhaust mounts. I was able to twist/pry/move the pipes to get the tips decently aligned in the body cut outs. But as I use the vehicle, it must move just a little to where the tips move and almost touch the body cut outs. I am at my exhaust guy now having them welded. They has to remove the tips and reweld them on to get them straight.

Was initially looking at a much more pricey exhaust and am so pleased that I decided to go with the Gibson exhaust. It was half the cost, but it does NOT lack on performance! I also added a new cold air intake to my 2014 Dodge Durango and the resulting sound is a very deep, throaty growl that sounds very aggressive when you accelerate quickly, but it's not so loud that it's annoying from the interior of the car. Excellence in performance and a great sound!

So far so good, I like the construction of the muffler and the tips are nice. Very heavy duty, the sound is great. I changed from the magnaflow I had because there was so much drone u couldn’t hear. Now there is little to no drone with these Gibson mufflers and the sound is great. It’s not irritating loud, it’s just right. Low tone rumble, you get on it and it wakes up. It comes with clamps to clamp the pipe. That’s the only cheap thing in the box, didn’t like them. I have a wire feed, so I welded them in. If you buy this in my opinion you want regret it, if you choose to clamp instead of weld buy a good set of clamps to go with this setup.

Not easy to install compared to other exhaust I've installed. Just be prepared to spend a couple hours on the install. Sounds great though. Gives my Durango a deeper, more aggressive tone but not overly loud.

The Durango was missing a little something after I did the resonator ‘suitcase’ delete.. these muffler gave the truck exactly what I needed!! 100% would recommend!!
