WOW!! This book is Incredibly Beautiful -- every time I turn a page, it's another sweeping vista beckoning my Wanderlust & curiosity to know more! the sprawling photos say more than any captions can, The captions/descriptions are enlightening, helpful (tariffs, for ex) & include cool details like the 'scent' of a place(/activity) . Mentioned: Scotland's Orkney Islands, Papua New Guinea coral reef; Chile Lake District; 'Old standbys' include: Bhutan flags over monastery, Icelandic puffins; Athens ruins; a good 4 pages dedicated to Galapagos (as should be!) but the perspective of the photos is modern -- and every place looks worth experiencing!
