45 acp snap caps
These are perfect for function checking the 1911 that I'm building. add to that I can do everything I need to without having live ammo anywhere near my work bench. Perfect fit, I especially love the rubber primer plug so even "dry fire" I have 0 worries that I'm going to damage anything. I purchased these in 45 acp because I got some of their .357/38spl Snap Caps and I've probably dry fired those over a thousand times and they show almost no wear except for a little spot where I can see where the hammer falls. This is a quality product.

Works great.
I have had no problems using them. I like the rubber that protects the firing pin. When dry firing. They don’t seem to ware out like Tipton snap caps.

Where's the container?
Good product, but no container as shown in the product data. I received them in a small plastic bag. I wish I had received the container to store them when not in use.

Reccomend product for general public as a training tool.
I just received them. They arrived in 2 small canisters. Packaging is overkill. I mean that in a positive light however. Above and beyond. The 10 I purchased cycled through the pistol from my magazines perfectly. They are a replacement for worn out snap caps made of lesser quality materials. The caviat here is they are roughly .020” of an inch shorter than actual Ball Ammunition. I was hoping they would be actual 1:1 to Ball ammunition because that would allow a gunsmith to use them in the capacity to safely troubleshoot mis feeding, and failures, thus they are snap caps for general training and not for malfunction checking by certified gunsmiths such as myself. This is acceptable for the public at large, and will assist their training and learning process. That is exactly what this was made for. It is well within it’s intended use, however for an actual gunsmith they cannot serve as a tool to initieate repairs or determine the cause of malfunctions.

NO Storage Container As Pictured
The pictures show that these dummy rounds come in a storage can. I received them in a plastic ziplock bag with no tin storage can. Having the storage container shown in the description was the reason I bought these. Totally false advertising!!!!

I have only received 3 of the stated 5. Haven't tried them yet. But they look ok. Glad that they are not painted. Got a different caliber coming today. Hopefully all are there

Good quality snap caps. Metal in design - and pleasant to look at. Only critic - these look a bit too much like actual ammunition- which could be an issue...

Was supposed to be 0.45 acp and they are 9mm not very pleased.
