My second board of the same
This is the second Staedtler 661 20 A3 board for me.My main use for it is making paint masks. I put a piece of A3 paper a sheet of thin neoprene with a frisket paper on top do my drawing and cut it out on the table with the help of the straight edges. After reading reviews I saw one about it not drawing a straight line on graph paper. It does not. It draws a straight line with a degree of repeated error so everything is straight vertical and horizontal. It can be used to make perfect squares of any size inside each other. It has an excellent locking mechanism. Just do not expect to draw lines on graph paper with it.

I'm impressed
I choose this board over the Chinese competitors and I'm glad I did. This thing is very smooth and very accurate. I'm a carpenter by trade and I find myself making drawings at work to convey information or to help me figure out roofing angles. I usually freehand my drawings but the scales is often wrong because it takes to long to draw accurately with just a square. It's in metric but that doesn't bother me at all, in fact I prefer it since it's base 10.
