Great product!
This worked great to pump the excess rainwater (we got 20 inches in one day) from our yard to the drainage system. I like that it automatically shuts off when the water level is low.

Great Product
Used the pump for the first time during today's downpours. Pumps a lot of water in a short period of time. The "Auto On-Off" version is definately worth the extra money!

Works great!
Perfect for using to divert water from my yard in lower lying areas and is used frequently after a heavy rain. Ordered a 2nd one to clear water faster.. Update..2nd one arrived just in time for tropical storm Debbie and is working great!

Auto Off But Still standing Water
Overall the Wayne auto bug worked well when it was running. The main issue, after 20mins it shut off and there was still a large amount of standing water. I unplugged for 5mins to reset but it would stop after 5mins.Called support and it was good to hear an America voice. One reason I bought the product bcz it was made in the USA.In summary, I may switch to the smaller non-auto off or keep this one if I have time to test it out in my tub.

Great pump
Only problem is the pump doesn’t work unless you have an inch or more of water. But the smaller Wayne pump does

Started working then just cut off can’t get it to start pumping water again
The media could not be loaded. It worked for a moment then just stopped. There’s no on and off switch says it’s automatic seems like it just cuts on for a second cut off. Also only pumped water. One time is definitely deep enough I tried moving it around plugged and in plug it turns on then shuts right off . then I try to call customer service and they’re closed pretty disappointed for the amount of money spent I have a flood that I need to clean up and now it’s not working. Will be getting refunded

Needs almost 2” to start automatically pumping (not 5/8)
Description is not clear! - pump needs almost 2” for auto pumping to start- and only then will pump down to less then 1”.

Update
Placed this in a part of our yard that floods with heavy rain. Today, rain level reached 2" above bottom of this device but, it never switched on. Piece of junk. Returning.Update: Keeping this little workhorse after all. Turns out it just needed to be placed flat on bare ground to work. It was pumping dirt and water out a 3 ft. discharge due to being placed on bare soil but, it removed all the water after a rainfall of 1.55" in an hour. The unit was overwhelmed with keeping up with that amount of rainfall in such a short time however, it eventually removed every bit of water in the flooded yard. I was actually exchanging it with another identical one but, have decided to keep both and run when a heavy rainfall is expected. By the way, easy to clean by just back flushing through the discharge with a garden hose.

Perfect solution for my flooded backyard.
Leaving in the Vancouver Fraser Valley…every year my backyard gets flooded once or twice a year during big rain storms . I keep borrowing my neighbour’s pump but it did not have a auto shut off. So I bought this unit and it works perfect . I attached a 75ft hose to it and forget it. Highly recommend this pump for small backyard floods.

Somewhat dissapointed
The Amazon details noted to "1/16"" but does not even turn on in 1/2" of water. Works great in any deeper situatiin but I specifically chose it for the 1/16th boast, too bad. Will keep for possible future deeper water issue.
