Oosh Potions Slime Surprise (Purple) by ZURU DIY Slime Kit with Sparkles, Beads, Glittler, Stress Relief, Party Favors, Magical Fluffy Putty Slime for Kids and Girls Ages 6+

This review is for Oosh Slime Surprise (Teal) by ZURU DIY Slime Kit This is a super cute idea! These popped up on my recommended for you and my 8 yo daughter is into potions, slimes, etc. so I knew we had to try them. (We ordered all 3 colors, but this review is for the teal one.). In each bottle you get ingredients to make 2 different slimes/potions. And you just need water for one- everything else is included. The mix-ins: pearls, confettis, etc. are LOVELY. So you get 1 large potion “bottle” that all your ingredients come in, 1 wand, 2 smaller potion bottles to store your slimes in, and all the ingredients to make 2 slimes. Oh and the smell- they both smell great! The white cloud slime smells like icing and the mix-ins match this theme and the blue jelly slime reminds me of clear ocean water- neither are overpowering, but still a nice touch. A couple things to keep in mind while making these: -The directions are TINY. The pictures are easy to see though to know which ingredients go with which slime. -The bottom of your larger potion bottle is your mixing bowl and your wand is your stirrer. -To make the white cloud slime you have to start with water. It states to not fill past the line in the bowl (the bottom of the potion bottle), but there are 2 lines- one closer to the bottom and one WAY close to the top- it means the one closest to the bottom of the bowl. (You should have like an inch of water in the bowl.) -The bottles that you store the slimes in- do not try to pull or screw off what looks like the cork like I did, lol- these have a little lip on the bottom of the bottle and the base pops off and you fill them that way. This is a really fun toy and a great price to make 2 slimes. These would make a great gift for any child who loves slimes and potions. I’m glad I went ahead and ordered all 3 colors. My daughter is having a ball making these!

Got it as Easter gift for kids. We got the blue and purple bottles. Both bottles turned out perfect consistency. I saw some say theirs was watery. If that's the case, they didn't stir it enough. The instructions say 5 minutes. It took all of 5 minutes vigorously stirring. But it turned into really good slime both kids love. Each bottle has two types of slime. Our potion bottles haven't leaked either. The only thing i can complain about is that the fluffy slime has to much decor in it. I would only use half the package of beads. When you stretch it, they all fall out so we just threw the pieces that fell out away and now it's working good and mess free. It's not sticking to hands or tables which is always how i judge good slime or not for the kids.

Definitely not a perfect slime making kit but my 5 year old had a lot of fun making them. The pink slime was super sticky but came together well, and the blue was slightly watery even though I filled to the suggested line. It came together more after mixing for a solid 5 minutes but we added 1/2 tsp of laundry detergent & it took shape. We also realized the wand glows in the dark! UPDATE: 2 days later and the blue slime broke down & separated from the water, probably just going to throw it out & keep the potion bottles

I did this activity with my 4 year old and she had such a fun time mixing all the “magic” potion ingredients and being able to put the slime away in the potion bottles. This kit made two different slimes. I would say the instructions weren’t super clear, but once I realized there is two different slime recipes and everything included in the kit to make both (not just choose one) it was a lot easier. I was under the impression it just made one slime so that was a nice surprise! Very fun, creative & engaging activity! I feel like it would be a great gift idea for kids of all ages, but 4 years old would probably be the youngest I would recommend, as it would definitely require adult help :)

We tried very hard to follow directions after other reviews I read, but this slime stayed very sticky for us on our hands and did not hold the beads. It was fun to make and the jars were very cute. But it doesn’t get played with.

I bought one of these from a store and my kids loved it. I bought one from Amazon and there was literal MOUSE poop in the one container. Absolutely do not buy from Amazon! I'm so disgusted I threw it away. DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON!

As a parent this is the best brand of slime. Not sticky, not complicated to make. It always turns into good slime, unlike some other product that have a fail rate (somethings my daughter pour to much or not enough or adds the wrong things). This is good. I wish they had more products bc I have bought most of then.

The texture was very elastic and non sticky at the beginning, however , it turns watery and very sticky after a week. It is totally cannot play anymore and become rubbish. Not worth and won’t buy again

My daughters loves this and it was a good activity for them. It took around 2 hours for them to prepare and play with their slime.

Love the container, love the wand, love the tiny bottles inside. The packages are split into 2 potions, 2 bottles, and step-by-steps are clear and look fun. My first slime came out fine, but too hard that any decorative bits popped out and refused to stay. It also retained its shape a little too well. Second slime completely hardened before incorporating with the water, no matter how much I stirred. Left it overnight to no avail, and it cut like jelly.
