I’ve only been using it for two days so if I build up a tolerance to this stuff too quickly this review may be updated in the future, but so far I’m very happy with it. I took my first capsule in the morning on an empty stomach and it took about an hour and a half to two hours to hit, but when it did the effects were very noticeable.First of all, my appetite was reduced to like 20% of what it normally is and I spent most of my day at work wanting almost no food. After about five hours I finally started to get a little hungry so I ordered one of my favorite things (bacon cheeseburger patty melt on sourdough with extra crispy hash browns! Yummy!), something I could normally inhale in ten minutes without exercising ALL my willpower, and I found that after eating less than a quarter of it I felt full and satisfied, like I’d just gone on a binge! Pleased, I snuck a few more tiny bites of my hash browns, like really tiny bites, and easily put away the rest in the fridge.I didn’t really get hungry again until about 8pm so I took a second pill and made myself a medium sized bowl of Korean style chicken and rice, ate less than a third of what I normally would, and again, that full satisfied feeling after such small amount of food soon followed. I’m really happy with the results and I hope it keeps working.Some cons, it gives me a little bit of a headache and a stomach ache, but those side effects are supposed to go away after you get more used to it so I’m staying hopeful. Usually I have fairly good discipline and self control with my eating so I hope this is my ticket to help making it an almost effortless endeavor.Update: Had to lower it to 4 stars from my 5 because the resulting headaches have gotten worse and today it made me very drowsy. I also bought some Berberine gummies that are supposed to have 100 mgs more per serving than these capsules but the effects are way milder! So I can only assume that either there is way more than just 500 mgs in these pills or the way it’s formulated is just too intense. These pills definitely work! Maybe too well.Second update: Rescinding my four stars and giving back it's original five! Now that I'm more used to berberine the side effects like headaches and drowsiness are a lot better and sometimes barely noticeable. Where was this stuff hiding during my competitive modeling days?? Berberine is powerful and takes some getting used to. It helps to start small and slowly add more as you build up your tolerance. I suggest starting with some gummies of comparable strength to these pills and cutting them in half, or even fourths if you're super sensitive. As you get more used to this herb you can start gradually adding more mgs to your daily routine. I can handle a full 500 mg cap at once now. I don't question the efficacy of berberine at all. If you're like me it may work a little too well for you.

I am amazed. I’ve been taking this for over 2 months and I love it. It helps to suppress appetite. I finally got down to my goal weight and was afraid I would gain weight back, but this product has kept me the same. I love how it’s gluten free, and nin gmo!

i purchased this product because it's supposed to lower LDL (bad cholesterol). will find out about that in june when getting blood work done, BUT it's helping in weight loss!!!! it does help with appetite suppression. didn't know it would affect appetite, but it does!!! it is an added benefit. i checked it out online and it has MANY MORE BENEFITS!!!! haven't experienced any side effects, but 500 mg is rite for me. sometimes more is not better. I highly RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I bought this product to help with reducing my appetite to aid in weighloss. It works when you take it with a meal. However, it causes belly cramp, light head/headache and constipation. There is no taste

I have been adhering to a reduced low carbohydrate diet for sometime now (last few months)...but nothing terribly harsh or strict as I know it's important to eat healthy and not go overboard with restrictions. But I was getting a little frustrated with the typical dieting scenario where I'd lose a few pounds only to regain the same pounds over and over...I'm sure many people can relate to that situation.But I felt it was time to put a little more pressure on my weight loss attempts, so I added this "Berberine" product. It's been very helpful in helping me reduce cravings and has made it easier to make wiser food choices.I'm very pleased with this product and have found it highly effective! I plan to continue my subscription and am very confident I can continue to lose the weight I need to take off after a 35 lb weight gain after a very stressful year as well as having been hit hard with Covid late in 2023, and having to go on prednisone...a prescription drug which made me feel famished and gave me an out of control appetite! But slow, sane and steady is the only way I will proceed! I've taken off 7 pounds within 10 days and so far have been very happy with it's performance!

Ended up giving to my daughter. Found out I can’t use with current prescription so can’t really comment on efficacy
