Mezzo Artist Brush and paint Tube Organizer Rack Set 3 Pieces - Wood Grain Laminate Multi-Layer Storage Display Stand for paintbrushes, Oil & Acrylic paints

As an oil painter, I like to store my paint tubes top down, and was hoping that this organizer would accommodate that, even though it is designed for the tubes to fit with the crimped end in the slots on the “floor.” It does exactly what I need it to do, and I don’t have to worry about the upside down paint tubes falling over & knocking the other tubes out of place. I like the organization & being able to see everything at a glance.I don’t often purchase the large tubes of paint, so the majority of the places for large tubes are unused until I can find a purpose for them. I would have liked an option to purchase a set with two of the racks that hold 18 small-to-medium tubes of paint, because that is what I am most in need of. It can be purchased separately, so that is an option, but it would be nice to have it all in one cost effective kit.Assembly is pretty easy for the most part. There is one little nit with the assembly of the unit for the smaller tubes: there is a definite front edge to the cross pieces that hold the bodies of the paint tubes, but there is no marking that delineates front from back. The tabs on either end of the cross pieces are slightly off center and are meant for the shorter sides to be placed facing front. If the pieces are not put into the unit correctly, it affects the ability to secure the final piece… but the problem goes unnoticed until the very end because everything appears to fit nicely until then.Once I disassembled and reassembled correctly, there was no issue. Neither of the other two modules of the system had this little issue. I think the instructions for this particular module could more clearly point out the difference & show the right way to place those cross pieces into the assembly.

The media could not be loaded. If you don't have a history of assembling Ikea furniture or anything else before, you could have a problem putting this together, but it will be really simple for most. Thing is, this is well-designed and all the parts come together easily with tabs and slots. The directions are clear with pictures and words. I bought the set of three pieces and spent about 20 minutes assembling each piece. The result is a sturdy and very useful set-up that is beautiful as well.

I was looking forward to receiving this and being able to use it. However, though I did get it together and it seems sturdy enough, it's a very slick surface and everything that didn't fit right into a hole or a notch just slid right out. Also the holes are too tall and too wide for most of my brushes and paint tubes. There were several cracks and chips already on the pieces and then once I put it together because the slots aren't milled very well sliding the pieces through the slots caused more chipping. There were also extra tongue pieces in the box. Not sure why. FYI this thing is gigantic. If my supplies had fit I might have kept it. But it doesn't work for me so I've got to return it.

After my move into my new home, my art supplies were a mess. I never had a dedicated space before so all my brushes and paints have lived in tubs and carry-all bags. Now that I'm settled in my new home, I was ready to set up my art space. I LOVE the convenience of this display and being able to unbox all of my paints and brushes! Super easy to assemble. Some people may not like the lightweightness and the "rubber band" connections, but as long as you aren't banging around on the organizer, it should last a very, very long time. I'm actually going to order another section to expand my display of my brushes and paints.

I really adore this little organizer- it was cleverly made- surprisingly sturdy and very easy to put together Unfortunately it really only works if you have all the exact products. I tried fitting my gouache or watercolor in there and it's simply too small- and they don't sell larger ones. It's no different with my brushes- I have a variety of long handled and short handled and only the long handled fit in this. If you're working primarily in oils and have a huge tube of titanium white and it may work- but the gamsol doesnt even fit in the bigger ones either.The idea is great but I think it's not easily transferrable for everyone's art supplies. perhaps swapping one of the bigger tube holders for a cup holder or two would be nice- one for water/thinner and one for your brushes.

I put this system together for my artist wife and she really likes it. The sizes and number of positions available really organizes her paint, brushes and markers. The paint tube positions have slots on the bottom that holds the end of the tube and keeps them in place. The assembly system uses rubber bands to hold the components together. At first I thought that system was odd, but it works and the unit is very sturdy when completed. Your artist will appreciate the organization that this brings to the studio.

Broken pieces of particle board and one piece was missing and also had a broken piece. The corner piece and a side piece had broken slides. I was so excited getting the one side piece put together but the second side piece was missing #A piece and another piece was broken when I pulled it out of the wrapper.

Works well to hold and keep my paint tubes organized. Easy to assemble. The flexible rings that you put on the end slots are effective at keeping the pieces from coming loose and are a clever idea in my opinion. No issues with these at all
