Ecover Natural Plant-based Stain Remover, 6.8 ounce

I truly love this product. I have been using it for many years -- I think I bought my first tube when my son was born, and he is now 11, to put things in perspective.I love the product because it really works. It is very rare for us to come across a stain that it cannot remove.I am aware that some people are skeptical of the product's "green" credentials -- there are plenty of reviews that point out that some of the ingredients are problematic, both in your home and in the broader environment. As of when I'm writing this, there is a great (and very well-balanced) review by a user named redrose that I encourage you to go read.Here's the thing: when you have kids, their clothes will get stained. And if it were easy to remove stains using all-natural ingredients then there would be better eco-friendly stain removers out there. I agree so much with the following statement from redrose's review that I will just quote it here:"This stuff works, and I know the company consistantly makes an effort to create greener products, and lobby against the greenwashing that is going on in a lot of mainstream companies."I will just add that, if you're not going to dress your kids in stained clothes, then you need to also factor in the environmental cost of manufacturing more clothes instead of using the ones you've already got. We don't use this product often -- it takes me more than a year to get through one of these tubes -- but I can say that it has rescued a lot of clothes that would otherwise end up in the trash. In my view that's not just a laundry win, that's an eco win as well.

This product is amazing. I loved it so much I purchased a few more for friends/family.Just a slight squeeze for the gel to come out, massage with the silicone brush it’s topped with, and throw in the wash with other laundry. I like to wait 5 mins before starting the wash (probably out of old habit with other stain removers).It has worked effectively on bicycle grease, armpit sweat, makeup, and other food stains. I haven’t tried on silk but I’m confident it’s gentle enough.The scent is light linen and a little goes a long way.

This is the best stain remover so far. It’s not magical and some stains still there but it does a lot more that other brands I’ve tried

This is an awesome product and eco-friendly! Best stain remover I have ever used. The product arrived with some leakage but other than that we love it!

I let it do its magic for 20mins before tossing the garment in the washing machine. It’s quite amazing how many different stains it takes out while being non-toxic.
