Wildly Inaccurate
So far, very unreliable. Keeps losing connection with the meter. Readings are all over the place and very inconsistent. On some wires it won't read at all. On others, it reads intermittently and causes the meter to reset every few seconds. If I hold it a certain way and pull in just the right angle so it is pulling against the spark plug wire, I can get readings for a few seconds that seem to hover around a certain number +/- 200 rpm. So if the actual RPM is 1000, it will bounce all over the place from 0-5000, but if I hold my mouth just right and close one eye and pull on the cord and play with the angle, I can get it to read between 800-1200 consistently for up to a few seconds before it trips out. The only thing more frustrating than no tool is a bad tool.

Poor pick up quality
I was looking for a tach adapter to quickly set RPM's on small engines with out having to wrap a wire or put reflective tape on the engine. Seemed to be OK for the first couple, now gives readings all over the place. I just gave up on it.

Not good for COP Ignition systems
Total waste if your car uses coil on plug (cop) ignition. No way to hook it up!

Not precise
Doesn't work. Displays square waveforms as peaks. Incorrectly diagnosed crank sensor issue as a result

Useless
I tried this on multiple ignition wires with no results on picking up any signal with the meter.
