My hubby loves this little blower. It is small and lightweight, yet does the job with no problem. He blows dirt and leaves out the garage and blows leave in the yard and blows grass clippings off the cement after grass cutting. It is durable and works well. Battery holds up really well. Easy to carry around and use. I would buy this again.

I have 2 of these and bought my daughter in law one. They dont weigh alot and work great!! Great power and mine is used nearly everyday

you get the legendary black and decker name at a great price. I use this to blow off my zero turn after cutting. it also works great to blow out the garage floor. it is kind of small and lightweight so not a mega blower for leaves. more of a broom replacement. the cordless battery lasts long enough for the small tasks i ask of it.

This blower is great for blowing flat hard surfaces (deck, drive, walks). It is not as powerful as a gas or corded blower, but similar to the way your camera phone is not as good as a DSLR, yet is better in the sense that you actually use it, this is a handy tool because you actually tend to use it, since it is so easy. Can be stored inside the house unlike a gas blower, and can be instantly put to work on a quick clean up, unlike corded where you have to unwind, etc. It works fine for blowing loose leaves out of grass or mulched areas too. Not very effective at blowing sticks, etc, which get caught in grass. A second great use is as a light snow blower. We keep it by the door, and when we walk out to fresh snow, just blow a clear path. Wont work on wet snow or ice, but on a dry snow it can easily clear a path in an inch or two of cover. EDIT: Years later, and still works great. Battery life seems consistent as well.

Actually, I would have given this a 3.5, but no option for that. What I like is that it is lightweight, really quiet and easy to use. I love the Black and Decker MAX series, so I have multiple batteries which makes swapping easy. That leads me to what I don't like. When I say "Under Powered" I mean it 2 different ways. The air stream is a bit weak - fast, but not much volume. It will blow most of the dust out of my shop and light grass off the driveway, but no way will it be able to herd leaves come fall. The second way it is under powered is the battery. It runs down pretty quickly. Don't be misled when it says it holds a charge for 20 hours. It will NOT run this blower for 20 hours. It really needs a battery with a lot more capacity. I fully understand the trade off between weight and run time, so I can't really fault B&D. I accept this blower for what it is and it basically does what I need it to do.

This is my fourth B&D blower. It works well until it doesn’t. I store it properly, clean is thoroughly and, ensure the batteries are maintained as well. Why can’t they get it together. When I purchased the first one four years ago for about $45, the 20v lasted about 12mos until the switch stuck and I had to use a plastic spoon to flip the switch. The second purchase was about $65, same issue after a year. The third one for about $85, same issue, and lastly the current purchase for $97. I notice that the newer ones are 21v so that means that when my other B&D lawn equipment dies, I’m stuck with old batteries 🪫 Let’s get it together because it’s frustrating and times are tough enough without having to buy equipment that can’t last more than a year with a short battery life.

I needed to replace my other Black and Decker blower with the old style 18v battery. My batteries are getting older and I did not want to buy anymore so I ordered this and for the money and what I needed it for it's great. This blower is for blowing dust and debris out of your garage or off decks, porches, sidewalks or other hard surfaces. I use it primarly after mowing to get the grass off the driveway, street, and sidewalks. It probably takes me 10 minutes and my old one would start wearing down if I did not hurry up. I took my time testing this and probably was using it for at least 15 minutes with no slowdown. I like how it is curved up at the end so the angle is right without having to lean down to get the debris to blow slightly up and into the grass or over the curb. It is extremely lightweight and small enough for an old lady like me to manage! It just has an on off switch. Simple to operate. It was also easy to put together as the tube just slides on and snaps in place. The battery said it takes 4 hrs to charge but mine was done in less than 2. It probably came partially charged. There is a light that flashes when it's charging and is on steady when it's done charging. Great system. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend for sweeping light debris.
