Company stands behind their product!
The scope worked fine the first time, but didn't work 2 months later. Such is life. However, I contacted the company and the offered their apologies, assured me that they stand behind their product, and quickly shipped me a new one.Great to do business with them.

It is fairly easy to set up.
Bought it because I could not rent one and it actually cost less then to rent. Just hook up to a lap top load the software and your good to go!

One time use camera
Used it once to look down a pipe, (dry so camera wasn't exposed to water) Worked pretty good and saved a lot of time. Put it back in box. Fire it up 7 months later and dead. PC keeps shutting it down and it just flickers. I updated the software ViewPlayCap company recommends which was the same version I already had. It hasn't been updated since 2011. The laptop couldn't use the camera either. It's really sad they put so much effort into a crappy product. Guessing the good reviews are after the first use when the camera actually works and people just throw it away. I would avoid this camera because better options are out there. Oh you can never tell the orientation of this camera either so it's very difficult to maneuver.

Great for seeing where you can't go
5.0MP USB Endoscope, NIDAGE 50FT Inspection Camera, Industrial Borescope - I purchased the USB Endoscope in order to locate a blockage in my buried down spout pips. Thus, the reason for such a long cable. As it turned out my landscaper actually determined the issue. Since that time, I have used the endoscope to view into several walls in my house to run computer cables (where it would not have been necessary for such a long cable on the endoscope). This is an excellent item to have for viewing inside small areas where you can't go or see.

It's Just A Toy
It works, not terribly well, but it does produce an image. My application was to find the cause of a clog in a kitchen drain. The image, once in the pipe, was dark and full of so much glare that it was unusable. No adjustment of the LEDs would compensate. Perhaps if they were more focused to look ahead instead of just scattering light everywhere it might work. In addition the length of the camera body itself is about 1¾ inches, making it impossible to round the corners in a 1½ inch pipe even tho’ one of the images in the item description shows a plumber working under a sink on what appears to be that size pipe.. It’s a clever little toy, but that’s what it is, a toy.

Rigidity issue
As far as picture quality, it is acceptable; however, it lacks sufficient rigidity to turn most angles. It accumulates at the point of angles approximately 45 degrees snd greater. Otherwise, the item is ok.

Works well for me
Worked great, small learning curve for software and I like the little hook and etc. that came for the end piece. You will need an electricians fishing rod, not curved wire, to help guide the camera through what you are inspecting. I have so far done; drain pipes, swear pipes and electric cable wall runs. As good as my inspection scope with 50' length.

Handy for troubleshooting wall spaces, and ductwork. Inexpensive enough to not cry if lost or broken
Great for guiding wire or cables through walls, and air ducts, and investigating plumbing.I thought the longer length would be handy but find it gets in the way more than I expected.Find my shorter versions (3-5meter) used more often.Get this if you need this length, but expect dirt and dust to be an issue, and not the cams fault.

It's ok
50ft cable is very handy but you need to uncoil it first and straighten the cable before inserting it or else it will coil up in your pipe. Video/picture quality is ok. The Focus area is very minimal, about 3 inches. If the object is closer or further it will be blurry. Not sure how to compensate for this in the software.

all lies,
all lies, quality is NOT 1080p, light is not strong not preform in dark places, software is a jock.
