Loved this flavor! Wanted to try the sample size and it did it disappoint. (Purchased the Chocolate Peanut Butter in the individual pack size) The amount of protein for a serving is great. My husband currently is going dairy free so we wanted to try a plant based protein and this one is a top pick for us. It mixed up well, not clumpy or chunky, and didn’t have a strange aftertaste or leave out tummies upset at all.

Good amount of protein, and does not feel heavy. Does not upset my stomach and appreciate that it does not taste artificial. Easy to use and blends well. Can feel a little grainy at first but dissolve well. A little pricey but good quality protein.

I really hate to give bad reviews but I want to save people money. I went online and read a lot of positive reviews of this chocolate strawberry protein shake. I've had a lot of protein powders in my life. But this one was by far the worst tasting and worst texture I've ever had. My husband, who can drink and eat anything, couldn't get past 1 sip. I mixed it with milk as directions stated using my blender bottle. I shook it for a few minutes and it appeared smooth. When we took the first sip it was like the dry powder stuck to our throats and made us both cough and gag. When we dumped our glass down the drain, the glass looked like it was coated with sand inside and when you touched it, it did feel gritty. Just ewwwww. Sorry Truvani, got to make this better! I love your idea of less ingredients and clean powders.

I am very picky about my protein powders. I am looking for one that blends easily without a blender, has no clumps, lumps or globs, tastes great, has no sugar, low calorie, at least 20 grams of protein and low to no carbs. The chocolate flavored TRUVANI Plant Based Protein Powder didn’t just meet all of my requirements for a good protein powder but far exceeded them. Over the last 50 years I have tried numerous brands and types of protein powder. Most are nasty and get returned or tossed. Some I use till they are gone, but only because they taste decent, not great...but not gross. They are usually clumpy and don’t blend well unless I use a blender. I will be honest, I am just not motivated enough or I don’t have enough time to haul my big ol’ Vitamix out and have to clean it and put it back away everyday. So a blender bottle is my blending choice for protein powders. I very rarely use the blender ball because it gets stuck in the rack of the dishwasher. I realize I could wash it by hand, but once again, I am not that motivated. Call me lazy, I don’t care. This is the very first protein powder I’ve used that blends up completely smooth without a blender and without the blender ball. It is low calorie at 130 per serving. There is no sugar. It is low carb with only 3 net carbs per serving. There is no weird texture. There is no gross aftertaste. It doesn’t leave a weird feeling on my teeth. It doesn’t leave gunk on the inside of the bottle that need to be scrubbed off . And best of all, the taste is by far the best I’ve had. As I drink this I think about all of these things and the fact that it’s plant based and realize I have found my favorite protein powder. It left me satiated and I didn’t get a stomach ache after drinking it like I do with most protein powders I hope the vanilla and the banana cinnamon flavors are as good as the chocolate one. I highly recommend the TRUVANI Plant Based Protein Powder.

I purchased the Truvani Vegan Pea Protein Power in CHOCOLATE (non-caffeinated) as a PACKET, since I wanted to "try" before I spent the money on the full cannister. When this says it is chocolate, they are not talking about a watered down taste - it is full - on - chocolate. If it's chocolate you're craving, grab this. One word of caution - if you are unfamiliar with the taste of plant-based protein powder, purchase the sachet first. If you are familiar with the taste of plant-based protein powders and have issues with it, please be aware that the chocolate flavor, while strong, does NOT disguise the plant-based protein "wang".

It was ok. It wasn’t like , oh that’s so awesome, but it was drinkable. Would I drink it again? Yeah. Will I try a different flavor first? Yes. You can definitely tell it has pea protein in it and the taste of that was pretty strong. It didn’t clump any at all, and is easily digestible it did help with energy and it was effective in keeping me full. I really liked that it was low sugar bc of being diabetic I’m always watching out for highs and lows. A idea I would recommend is maybe increasing the flavor of vanilla more. Maybe adding a Splenda to it might even make it better to your drink when mixing it. That would be an idea anyways. I do like how all the ingredients are dairy free, egg free due to food allergies and asthma (dairy). I’m always having to look out for that also. The drink grows on you as your drink it but it wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst.

If you have a Ninja Creami and are looking to make a high protien strawerry ice cream, use this protien powder! It helps keep a smooth consistancy and the strawberry doesn't taste artificial.

Edited to add: Truvani has great customer service! While I am not satisfied with the product, they reached out to me personally to remedy the situation. Very impressed! I’ve been on the hunt for a protein powder that is dairy free and does not contain MCT oil. I ordered the sample size of the Truvani protein powder because the ingredients were clean and the price was decent, despite mixed reviews on the flavor and texture. I shook it up in a mason jar with 8 oz of almond milk, and the smell, flavor, and texture were not good. It is thick and chalky and did not taste great at all. Such a bummer and the search continues.
