Interesting stuff!
So I've been using this in 2 cars for the last 6 weeks. A 2019 Honda Civic 1.5L and a 2016 BMW 528i 2L. Both cars very well maintained. Starting with the Honda the first tank of gas I put in 6 oz. Overall the car was running pretty good before the treatment but would shake at stop lights at times to a point of putting the car in neutral just so I wouldn't feel it. Didn't notice much of an improvement after the first tank. Second tank cut back to 4oz. Started to feel some results. No more shakes and hold the rpm to a steady 600. Third tank and the car is running the best it has in3 years. The BMW I just bought 3 months ago 84k miles in very good condition but was a bit rough and noisy running. First tank 8oz in and I could feel some things happening. Slightly better running. Second tank, 6oz in. Like the Honda the improvements began. I started to get a odd burning smell at times. No leaks so no worries. 3rd tank and still running better with the smell sometimes. I'm pretty sure carbon is burning off and that's what the smell is. I'm seeing what looks like soot on my chrome tips at times. No doubt the car starts faster and runs smoother now. I'm very interested to see how it runs after another couple tanks. Overall this stuff is a great value but don't expect instant results and I wouldn't recommend using it as a one and done. Buy a gallon and add it to the gas for at least 6 tanks of gas. Your motor didn't go bad in 400 miles and bringing it back will take some time too.

2011 BMW X5 and 2006 Saab 9-3
Hi - I don't write reviews on car products. However, I've been using this Lucas injector cleaner on 3 2011 BMW X5s with 150,000 miles, and 2006 Saab with 145,000 miles for over 5 years, every fill-up using the recommended volume. All 3 X5s and the Saab run smoothly. When I changed the Valve cover gasket on my Saab, the cylinder heads looked spotless. I thought it might be because I don't usually drive the Saab since the X5s are the daily drivers. When the X5s went through a preventative maintenance, we installed new glow plugs. The engine in all X5s were in great condition and clean. Since the X5s are diesel, we've used Lucas DPF Cleaner + this Lucas Injector cleaner together for each fill-up using their recommended volumes, for more than 5 years. I've seen few regen events and the DPF has little to no back pressure. All vehicles pass California Smog tests with flying colors.I frankly didn't expect that. Given my experience, I feel compelled to share. I get 600 miles per tank with the all 3 diesel X5s. My 2006 convertible Saab still runs strong. There you go! Hope this helps someone, too.Safe drive!

Save money on a product that works!
I've been using Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment for the last few years, specifically after every oil change on my cars. Initially, I used the 5.25-ounce version, but I realized that purchasing the 1-quart version is more cost-effective.Performance:The results have been impressive. My average miles per gallon (MPG) typically hovers around 30-31. However, after using the Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment, I consistently see my average MPG jump to 36. This improvement is based on my daily drives, which involve 50-70 mph speeds over 3-6 hours.Cost Efficiency:Switching from the 5.25-ounce bottle to the 1-quart version has been a smart move financially. Not only does it save money, but it also reduces waste, as I'm not tossing out small bottles every time.Effectiveness:Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment has proven to be highly effective in enhancing fuel efficiency. The noticeable increase in MPG has made it a staple in my car maintenance routine. Given the amount of driving I do, this product not only saves on fuel costs but also seems to improve the overall performance of my vehicle.Pros:Significant increase in MPG (from 31 to 36 on average).Cost-effective when purchasing the 1-quart version.Easy to use, just add it after an oil change.Potentially improves overall engine performance.Cons:None observed so far; the product delivers on its promises.Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment is a reliable and cost-effective solution for anyone looking to improve their vehicle's fuel efficiency. The substantial increase in MPG is a testament to its effectiveness. Whether you drive long distances daily like I do or simply want to get more out of each gallon, this product is worth considering.
