Really Solid Pedal.
I really love this pedal. Smooth, responsive, and there is just something about the beater, i think the length (it's much longer thana DW or Tama IC beater) feels very powerful for how smooth it is. The screws that convert it into a long board stripped instantly when I tried to change it the first time, and from what I've ready this is a consistent problem. Also, I'd like to be able to quickly remove the chain so that when packing it up I can leave the beater on without stretching the chain. The beaters has a memory lock, but I think moving it around has an affect on the weight-feel of the beater. I dunno. Overall this is really the best pedal i've played, and I kind of regret not getting the double.

Heavenly feel FAST as HELL
What a great pedal. Having spent 50 dollars more for an Axis pedal that was junk I'm very happy with the Demon drive pedal. It's fast, smooth, and is worth every penny. If you are looking for a great double kick pedal this is it.The only con is the left pedal does not have a way of securing it to carpet. You would think for that price that would be included. I know it's included in cheaper Pearl double kick pedal as I have one.

Very good pedals, but not great
Are these worth the price tag? I don't think so. I would say the infinite number of adjustments you can make to these don't add much value. I tried many different settings, only to find that the default setting with a slight beater height adjustment felt the best and gave me the most accuracy and consistency. That setting seemed to be pretty close to cheaper pedals. These pedals are very good no doubt. They are very smooth and are a definite upgrade from an older set of pearls I've had for over 10 years. A lot more fluid and stable. They look bad-ass too. I do like the chain-less direct driving. One negative thing that does happen though is some occasional creaking if I don't keep my foot solid on the pedal when I hit. It's kind of like when you hit a baseball bat without a firm enough grip. It's nothing that would be noticed during a gig. I only notice it on my electronic kit at home under quiet circumstances. Also another thing to be aware of, because of the direct drive connection (no chain), the slave pedal sticks out further than a chain drive would. Because of this I had to change the positioning of my hihat legs to make sure the slave pedal drive is not rubbing against the hi hat stand leg, and in doing so my left foot is almost rubbing against another hihat leg. I'm going to get a 2 leg hi hat stand to solve this problem. It's workable with your standard 3 leg stand, but just be aware of it if you opt for the chainless version. After an Amazon sale and a promotion, I was able to purchase these for $427. If you can get a deal like that, it may be worth giving them a try. Even then, you can most likely get the same results and improvements from a cheaper set. But for $600, I would not waste your money.

P3002D Demon Drive
I used the DW9000, then the Demon Drives. The Demon Drives take some getting use to but I love the multi adjustments and smoothness. You can change the set up to a long board pedal, too! I have changed the beaters out. They tend to wear out quickly. I drum in gigging bands playing blues, classic rock, metal and country. These pedals are very reliable and I like the quiet smoothness to them. I'm finishing a recording project in the studio. We didn't have to worry about creaks or pops with these pedals. I'd buy them again if I had to.

These pedals are insanely fast!
I am an ameature drummer getting back into it and nobody stocks these local so I had to take a shot in the dark and they are amazing, though I havent had them for awhile I feel like they are gonna last a long time and several pros use them like Joey Jordison and Cameron from Born of Osiris so that says enough for me...
