Date-Nut Cake: Trappist Abbey Monastery 1lb

Very disappointed with this product. It was much smaller that I expected and was so hard I could not cut it with a knife. It should not be called "cake". Was more like a chunk of petrified rock. Bad tasting. Tossed in the garbage.

Not worth the price. Tiny little square. Two bites and gone. Didn’t taste fresh at all I had them before long ago and they were bigger fresh taste and smell. Simply awful.

Love the fresh taste and texture. It is rather expensive but I decided to splurge for the holidays. Too bad so many people want to cut themselves a big slice, haha

But it is definitely dense.(3) My biggest gripe with this date-nut cake is that it was too sweet for me. That's why I gave this 3/5 stars. Depending on your tastes, you might love it or hate it.I wouldn't buy the date-nut cake again, but I did enjoy Trappist Abbey's fruitcake.

If I could item would be returned..First it is a very small square..Second, the taste is not as expected..and is unpleasant..it is more like fruit cake than the date nut bread I used to eat..

Albeit I'm not a big fan of dates, this cake was tasty - especially. w/nuts.
