This was a gift for my 75rh birthday and I love it!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! It's made of compressed cardboard. The pieces didn't line up correctly and I ended up throwing it away. I've been building wood dollhouses for years and I finally decided to get this one for a neighbor's child, and it was the worst mistake ever.

This dollhouse may be what you are looking for, but there are some things to be aware of. First, the positive: (1) It has a natural wood finish, which allows you to paper or paint it rather than being stuck with a silly pink-and-purple interior with giant cupcakes and too-large printed furniture); (2) it has 5 rooms, which allows for a bathroom or child's room; and (3) it is reasonably priced. BUT, you should know: (1) it is too fragile for young children, and even older children would need to know how to be gentle; (2) the room size is very small--there's not really space for realistic room layouts (the floor space in a room is only about 7" X 7"), and the scale is more like 1:15; (3) the furniture that comes with it is erratic in scale. This is made in India, a fact that Amazon is extremely resistant to revealing, but shipping was fairly quick.

This is not easy to assemble but when you do get it together it’s very cute! Used this kit to make a haunted house. Fun project for any age.

Perfect game. Your children will be busy for a long time. Creativity and fun, you can decor this house in my way. Only one small problem - some details not fits properly, so maybe you’ll need one adult, one sharp knife and some glue to fix it. Material is good quality and strong. Best present!!!

Though it is expensive but my daughter appreciates it. It is not very easy for her to assemble. She required my help. Though it gets easier when done with parents. The best part is that it is plastic free and is made with pride in India.

Best product for price range, took some time to assemble but it was worth it. One of the best thing was that it is MADE IN INDIA !

Most positive reviews are for the sense of achievement in assembling the product. It doesn't serve the purpose as it's too fragile and too sharp for being handled by children. Not sure if it's meant only for adults.
