YAMAZAKI home Rin Tissue Case with A Lid, Natural, Short

I like this tissue case from YAMAZAKI. The body is made from metal and the lid is made from wood. Made quality is decent and should last many years. I love the design of the tissue box, it looks simple and chic. I set up this tissue box in our bathroom and it fits well.I put rectangular tissue from Kleenex into this tissue case and it works fine. As you can see from my photo, I took the tissue out of the original Kleenex box and put into this case. The concept of this tissue box is the lid floats on top of the tissues. As you take the tissue out, the lid will lower down with the decrease of the amount of tissues. This is different from traditional fixed lid tissue box, but it actually works well. I tested a few times, no issue at all.

I buy the large boxes of tissues (200 +) and without fail there are at least 2 instances per box where the next tissue does not "pop up" or it falls back down into the box. This product solved that problem and looks much better than the ridiculous prints on the tissue box.

I've always hated the look of facial tissue boxes, but could never find a cover for the rectangular size boxes. The square tissue boxes which have covers everywhere don't hold that many tissues.Pros: Looks very nice on a wood desk or piece of furniture.Cons: Can't use puffs tissues with this because they are stacked and not tucked into one another. Thus they don't pop up. You have to use Klennex tissues. Another downside is the wood lid is too heavy. It'd be good if they made it thinner so it was lighter. Have the tissues I pull from this tear off instead of pulling out cleanly. If you pull in a certain direction it works, but this is a lot of thought to just grabbing a tissue. Sadly, wouldn't recommend. :(

Looks great, but tissues tear when pulling. Tissues I used are kirkland costco tissues. The top sits on top of the tissues and moves around a bit, it is not a tight fit and drops as you use up the tissues. The box is heavy and has a great sturdy feel. If using in a car, it will move around. I keep it on the floor.

I've been searching for a tissue case that prevents fall back for long time.All the other tissue cases I found in Amazon, Google etc., don't have a fall back prevention.I found one with a spring inside of a tissue case, but that didn't look stable and I didn't like the design.Finally I found what I want! This tissue case has a floating lid that prevents fall back. The level of the lid goes down with the amount of the tissues. Perfectly working as I want. I also like its simple design.I am purchasing three more.

This does not fit puffs or Kleenex. It's not as cute as depicted and for what it is, it's overpriced. I got two as a wedding gift and I'm basically using the tins for storage and trashing the wooden tops because it was too late to return them. Really disappointed.

Like the design but the execution is lacking. The images show how precise the wood fits into the metal box but in actuality there is a 3/16 inch gap that the product photos do not show.Why does this matter? In actual use of pulling tissues out, this gap allows the wood to hit the sides of the metal box which produces an annoying empty metal clanging sound. If the sides of the wood had some sort of gasket that would probably solve the problem or if the wood was cut more precisely to match the metal box.Unfortunately the product is not as precise/clean as the photos. It definitely a returner.

Perfect tissue box. Steady steel box with elegant color. The cover descends with the hight of the tissue pile, making it easy to get the last piece of paper. Can’t love it more!
