Works well and reasonably easy to fit
Direct fitment into the rear of an Audi Concert radio system in the CD changer plug. You'll need to remove the radio (get a decent set of keys) and then detach the quadlock plug from the back. This Bluetooth connector fits into the quadlock, then you connect the whole quadlock back into the radio. The earth/ground connector can be connected to one of the screws in the back of the radio (you'll need a T8 or T9 Torx for this).(Hint: make sure your airbag light connector under the stereo is plugged back in when reinstalling, if your car has this feature!)This Bluetooth unit 'tricks' the stereo into thinking it's a CD changer, so you'll need to select CD on your radio to get it to work. Bluetooth pairing is easy and quick, and no passcode is required. No coding is required either, unless you already have an Aux connector in the CD changer connection, in which case you may need this coded via vagcom if it doesn't work straight away.Sound reproduction is clear and it's a much better and tidier solution than using cables or an FM transmitter.Playback is instant on your favoured music service when the stereo is switched on and CD is selected.Recommended.

Really useful adapter
Ideal solution to add Bluetooth to an older car at a very reasonable price. Little tricky to work out which one I needed and initially bought the wrong adapter for older stereo models (smaller blue plug). This turned out to be the correct adapter for my 2010 Audi A3 with a Concert II+ double din stereo. Fitting was fairly straightforward having bought 4 removal keys. I needed to remove the plug that comes from the AUX input and replace it with this one. It looks like you can keep the AUX functionality if you splice in the 3 wires from the AUX socket to this new plug but I didn’t bother. Sound quality and volume are equal to the fitted CD player. Bluetooth connection establishes quickly and seem very stable. The separate Bluetooth hands-free calling continues to work as before and when playing music via Bluetooth, basic controls on the stereo and steering wheel continue to work (volume, skip track etc.). Very happy with this purchase at this price.

BlueMusic for Audi A3 2010 - UK
I’ve got a 10reg Audi A3 with the concert radio. You need to buy 4x removal keys (make sure for your car as they come in different types). You take out the radio, fit this Bluetooth kit in the rear and earth it to a nut (T8 torx) and you’re good to go. Instructions are in the pack aswell. It works perfectly and doesn’t need coding. I paid £40 inc delivery and it took a week to arrive

Does the job. MK6 VW Golf RCD310 add on
MK6 VW Golf 2009Took 15 minutes to install. I’ve got the old RCD310 head unit without Bluetooth module and just needed something to tie me over until I jumped on the RCD330 with apple car play. Didn’t want to keep using the AUX with no ability to skip tracks on the head unit or steering wheel. This basically adds a Bluetooth connection to your old RCD310 head unit. Most importantly, it allows you to use your steering wheel which I have or head unit to skip tracks. It will also remember what song you were playing next time you start up. It doesn’t show the song title name on the head unit screen unfortunately, it will just display track 01 02 etc. Turning the volume down will pause the song, turning it back up will resume the song. Sound quality is excellent with no interference. Make sure you select CD as source as the module plugs into the CD section of the head unit at the back. The unit comes with instructions so you can’t go wrong.Haven’t tried using it with my phone so cannot comment on if that works or not. Besides I don’t take calls when I’m driving anyway so I don’t care for that functionality. All in all happy with the purchase. Way better than some silly Bluetooth usb dongle for the cigarette lighter. No battery drain as the device is plugged directly into the unit and will power off when the ignition is turned off.
