I tried the Boveda pucks - not odor proof and they unscrewed too easily. I tried Garden Glass brand and they are not odor proof. I tried the LED jars, and while they are cool, are also not odor proof. Enter these pucks. Totally odor proof. I suspect it’s because they are the only ones that have an o-ring. Simple but effective. Also, these are very sturdy and very portable. If you need something 3.5 grams and below, sturdy and odor proof, these are for you.

I have used this little puck for over two years It still works like the day I purchased it. Keeps smells and taste in while keeping moisture or lack of moisture out. It has a rubber O-ring to seal the screw on lid. Outer shell is almost indestructible.

After having some bad luck with cheap aluminum containers that were just too thin; threads would grind together like sandpaper before finally seizing up after 2 months, I decided to invest in these pucks. I bought two.; black and gun metal grey.These are heavy duty and well built. I keep my spice bulk in small glass mason jars and only grind enough for a few days. After grinding some and letting it sit for a hour, I did a 'smell test". No smell escaping these pucks. Did another smell test after 24 hours and still no smell, so it's safe to say that these are smell proof as well as air tight.Just a Friendly! : There is always a chance of cross threading when dealing with any screw on lid, so make sure the threads are lined up. These pucks fit snug. You can feel when the lid hits the seal, then you know it's sealed, so no need to over tighten.Great product and well worth the money.

I used it for my wet snuff tobacco.. I like to add a little flavoring to it and needed a better sealed container since original can of snuff would leak. It worked absolutely perfect until the threads wore out after a couple of months. I a one that is careful not to cross thread anything that screws. I tried ordering a different container almost similar but it doesn't have o-ring. How they can advertise as smell proof and water proof baffles me? This one would be great if threads were more durable or a stronger metal.

Perfect for pocket size, seals well but also ez to open. Just bought 2 more.When I first purchased this I also bought 2 other containers by other brands at same time but both of those were smaller than I this (i prefer larger), and one of them I had to return because it was not even possible to open it!I do wish they made this item in a size of about 4 inch diameter though, if they did I would buy that too.

The O-ring provided with this gets bunched up and bulges out so the seal isn’t great. I took it off and use it without it. I’d recommend the product offered by RAW instead.
