Mosquito Head Net Hat, 2 Pack Sun Hats with Hidden Net Mesh Mask

Used this item on a Boundary Waters canoe/fishing trip. The mesh worked perfectly on the mosquito-infested portages. Zipped the mesh off and used as a sun hat while fishing. The head size is large but a baseball cap underneath solved that problem. Love the way it folds down to pocket size!

This hat has been a godsend, for we live in an area of high mosquito density. Here is my feedback for information: it fits surprisingly large -- I am female with a smallish head and the only way I have been able to make this hat work is to wear it over top of a ballcap or a bandana over my head; it's lightweight and comfortable especially with the mesh inserts on the crown that allow air flow; it's reasonably wellmade; it twists to a circle the side of the crown, for easy storage in a large pocket, and resumes its shape easily; the drawstring to close the mesh around your neck is sensible however the mesh should fall further than it does -- I find it works well when I am maintaining straight posture but if I am looking down as I do when weeding, the mesh is not long enough to keep all of my neck covered; the drawstring to hold it on your head is also sensible; the zipper for the mouth I find quite silly and pointless but I suppose if I were sitting still and sipping from a straw then it might be useful. At times I have worn the hat with the mesh tucked up inside and the mesh tends to slump down a bit and dangle from the brim, but that actually helps provide shade when I am needing it to be a sun hat. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and the value for money is certainly there in terms of getting a 2-pack.

Used these hats for a trip to Greenland, a very buggy place!!! Hats work really well. Great value.

Keeps bugs off your face, but got a bit through the mesh on the side of the top part that goes over your head.

This is the mosquito head net with hat that I've been hoping for--- except for one thing. That one thing is that the hat size doesn't fit my head---it's too way too big. This doesn't affect its use as a bug barrier for my head, but it makes it impossible to use the hat just as a hat. I've figured out I can put on a baseball cap and then use the mosquito net hat on top of the cap so that the hat fits well, but it sure would be much better if they had made the hat size adjustable for different head sizes. Other than this one thing, the design as a mosquito head net hat is fantastic. The steel ring keeps the netting away from my skin (thus keeping the mosquitos away too). The optional whole for access to my mouth to drink or snack, is a great idea, especially with the zipper. The closure at the bottom of the net seems to work well. All in all, great protection against mosquitos around the face. It would be perfect if they made the hat size adjustable. Since 2 of the same item are offered in this deal, it's an excellent price.
