Very pleased with purchase.
Simple and purely functional for my needs.I'm using this for my TV setup, and occasional music streaming. I have some vintage speakers and sub connected to it and was able to dial the sub way down from my previous amp. I feed the audio from my Samsung TV to the A30 via an optical connection. I did adjust the delay on the TV as my Fire TV needed a bit to line up the audio with the video. Probably something to do with the optical connection as I had not run into this before.I found this little remote:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08W2GY92D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1to use with my Fire TV and turn the power on and off for my TV, and adjust the volume on the A30. This makes the setup pretty much ideal for me. Yes, I leave the A30 on at all times, it draws almost no power.Sound quality is great, my old Klipsch speakers and sub really sing with this amp and I have PLENTY of volume!! The speakers I am using are VERY efficient and this amp loves them.Update - 3-17-2023 : Still use this little guy pretty much every day. Has not given me any troubles at all. It outlasted my subwoofer that I'm now hunting for a replacement. Thought I'd look around and see if there was any neat new units that I might replace this unit with. But in a quick search I'm happy to see this is a still a very solid choice for this application. There are some interesting options out there, but sadly many lack a remote control.Funny thing is when I first got this unit it I simply sat it out on the top of the TV cabinet. I had plans to place it inside the cabinet, but I actually like the little guys looks so I keep him right there on the top of the cabinet. It never gets hot, I never turn it off, and never have run out of volume. It still blows me away that I can have such a little amp for all of my needs. One of these days I'll grab another for the garage.

Excellent bang-for-the buck all-in-one amp
Pros; integrated DAC, clear sound from Muse electronic volume control, has coax, optical, USB and BT inputs, cost, all-in-one size. Cons: Sound is a bit shouty so speaker matching critical. Good match for Triangle BR02, my guess is it would be a bad match for the cheap/good Sony speakers. Coax input on my system sounds better than USB from my computer. Could not get this performance at this price just a few years ago!Edit: After several weeks of break-in, the shouty quality has greatly decreased and the treble has smoothed out. Changing to 5 stars. I think the synergy between the ESS DAC, the NWJ electronic volume control and the infineon chip provides a very high sound quality for the money, Construction seems high quality as well, which makes an excellent combo. I finally have an office system that is both compact, reasonable cost and is of sufficiently high quality to satisfy my picky ears. Did not try the analog RCA inputs - some people say it has hiss. Dont plan on using the analog inputsLiked it so much, I bought another one.

Excellent amp but the seller was not great
This amp sounds amazing with my Kef Q100 speakers and a 10” Dayton sub. I use both the USB input for my Windows PC and Bluetooth for my work Mac and IPhone.I love that you can set it so the LED display auto turns off while it is powered on and in use. I am not a big fan of electronic lights.Compared to the SMSL AD18 it replaced, the sound quality is noticeably better. The bass is smoother. I can drive it to higher volumes without it sounding harsh.I tried my Sennheiser HD300 pro headphones and they didn’t sound great when the volume was quiet. They were lacking a bit of bass which they usually have a bit too much of. Cranking the volume made them sound much better but will hurt my ears after a while. It is an amazing amp for the price. Highly recommended. One star off for the seller who didn’t put it in a box when they shipped it. They just slapped a label on the amp box and shipped it. The box was very beat up when I received it. Removing the shipping label tore the box further. I like to keep the boxes for all my electronics. The seller put an SMSL product card in the box. No idea why when this is a Loxjie amp. The amp had fingerprints on it and no protective film over the display. Was it used or a return rather than new? I don’t know but decided to keep it anyway because it works flawlessly and I like it so much.

Nice product for the price if you like disposable amps that only last a year
I purchased this amplifier so I could connect it to my whole house audio system through the Aux RCA connections and to my TV through the optical port. This amp was one of the few I could find that had both and also a sub-woofer output. It is very reasonably priced, so it looked like the perfect solution. As stated, one of the reasons I bought it was because it had an optical input that I was intending to use to connect the TV however, I could not get the optical input to work. All I got was an annoying static-y squeal. Online I have seen that others have had this same issue. Since I did not test this on any other optical devices, I'm not sure if it is a compatibility issue with the TV or if the optical input is just not working properly. Luckily, the TV also had Bluetooth capability, so I was able to get the amp working for my application and I did not have to return it. The amp is driving a pair of Definitive Technology ProMonitor 1000 speakers and a ProSub 1000 subwoofer. Although I would have preferred an optical connection, the Bluetooth seems to be working well and I am very happy with the performance of the amp. Time will tell if it holds up.UPDATE:Now that I have had this amp for almost two years, I am reducing it to one star. After about a year, the LCD display started to go bad. Right now only about half of the display is visible. Recently, one channel on the RCA inputs seems to have shorted out. Whenever I connect anything to the left channel RCA input, it the volume of everything is reduced to almost zero. I know this was not an expensive amp, but I still don't think a $200 amplifier should be disposable after less than two years.
