I’m a former preschool teacher. I was thrilled to see my little 2 year old granddaughters enjoy this so much. Many language building opportunities: animal names, categorization (all the brown animals) spatial awareness (can you put bunny over lion), sequencing, counting , endless fun while they are learning and developing language. Not to mention the imaginative play as they carried them places or pick off the rabbit and dance with it when they hear a bunny song. People criticizing have no understanding of what a high level educational tool this is. 5+

This mat is great! My 1 year old having so much fun with all of the animals. They are very well made, great quality and seem very durable. They definitely have to be used under supervision for little ones since there are small pieces that could potentially be a choking hazard but they seem to be glued on well. Yes the mat does come folded so there are some creases but they flatten out easily enough and dont interfere with the sticking the animals. Overall a high quality felt board that we will enjoy playing with for a very long time!

Bought this for my son who turned 2. It's been fun playing with him and going over animal sounds and animal names. It's also great that he likes playing with this by himself so I can do other things too. I don't have to worry about him chocking on anything. The velcro does lose it's stickiness after awhile, but my son is also pretty rough sometimes slapping the pieces on.

My son loves this board. Some of the pieces he tries to pick off so you just have to watch them, but otherwise it is durable and comes with extra stickers to put in if they come off.

Colorful! My 18 month old grandson will be able to easily put on and take off the Zoo animals. Made with layers of felt that are well secured to make the animals visually appealing and thick. The velcro stips are securely attached.

I have 3 of these felt boards. I just change them out every few weeks which is super easy, I just use the same hooks that are fastened to the wall. Keeps my 18 month old entertained, he likes looking for certain animals and then pulls them off and tries to stuff them in his other toys. Really cute, would absolutely recommend.

This was a great idea but poorly executed. The Velcro pieces don’t stay on the pieces which is not good for my 3 year old. My 3 year old loves it but it’s dangerous especially since the pieces can easily come apart including the eyes. I think it was a great idea but just cheaply made. I should have ordered something similar that was $10, $29 was definitely too overpriced.
