Adult Metallic Knit Chainmail Tunic & Cowl Costume

this item looks good. It is comfortable. I wore it to a Renaissance fair over the weekend and had many people stop me and tell me how cool it looked.

As someone who's owned butted chainmail (not riveted since it was way out of my budget), this definitely does the trick. Featherweight, thin, semi-stretchy, fits well, and with a long-sleeved gray or black shirt underneath, it pulls off an authentic look. If you want something of decent quality that appears like chainmail, sort of like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, then this is what you need. Definitely worth the money.

Very well worth the price, looks great and convincing even close up, it’s light enough to wear on a hot California day somewhat comfortably. Inside is a little rough and itchy, but if you have a long sleeve tunic or shirt on it’ll help. Wish the sleeves were a little more cropped but that’s an easy fix

Can not recommend this enough! I've owned real chain mail before and I gotta say this thing really looks the part. Based on other reviews I was willing to give it a shot, but still figures at this price it probably only looks good at a distance, or mostly covered. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually looks really good even close up. It seems to be a pretty durable shirt even! It does seem to fit on the smaller side, so if you're not sure go a size up. Great value for the money, very happy with the purchase!

Too small. Only the size small/medium was available. The sizing is supposedly unisex but there wasbt a size chart for this item. Going off the manufacturers other items sizes, small medium might have worked it it was a mans size small/medium. Sadly too small around my torso (the arms were fine) and the cowl hood was very small on my head. All the other reviews I've noticed were for the large/xlarge. I'd have bought that if I could! Material is interesting. It does have a mesh lining/backing so it's not just the open weave. The chainmail looks a lot more authentic than other versions of this costume fabric armor I've seen.

This does not feel at all like chainmail, but it looks like it. It's lightweight and flexible. XL is what I usually get for polos and sweatshirts, and the XL version of this fit great! It's easy to layer and far better value than plastic chainmail links.

This faux chainmail shift was perfection. I decided to create a cosplay for my new DnD character for the start of our new campaign a month before I needed it to be done and the only great options for chainmail are either costly and/or extremely time intensive to craft and I ran across this and decided to give it a shot based on some very helpful reviews and review pics and I’m so thankful!! One review says to help it look best is to wear something dark underneath, and I second that rec. I wore a long sleeve black turtle neck top underneath and it along with all the rest of my cosplay turned out amazing. But even without my other pieces, it looks so good for the price and fit and how comfortable it is! For reference I’m 5’7” about 170lbs and Small/Medium fit me perfectly. Highhhhhhly recommend.
