Very nice replacement!
Bought this for a friend to restore his vent hood in his grandparents house he inherited and wanted to keep as original as possible. He is thrilled! Works great, quiet! After seeing what the grills are worth for these units I told him he better keep it going rather than get a new questionable piece from big box stores.

Purchased two motors to replace the seized worn out motors in a NuTone model 8490 exhaust fan fixture. Now no more horrible, morbid smells in the room which makes a more pleasant work environment.NOTE: measure the distance between the mounting studs on the end of the motor as well as the shaft that spins the fan for proper fit for your application.

The fan motor screw mount one broke off

Expensive, but worked.
Install was as simple as turning a few screws. This motor was used to replace an antique nutone kitchen exhaust fan, so finding the right one, with the right shaft diameter and length was awful. This one did the trick though.
