sturdy, medium-duty, ergonomic. happy with the purchase.
directions were a bit tricky but got it together it about 20 minutes. solid stand and folds up for storage against a wall. id consider it a medium-duty stand, perfect for branches 6" wide or less and maybe 50 lbs or so. it holds the branches above the crossbeam an inch or two which makes sawing easier without damaging the blade. im getting old and this keeps me from bending over to cut. happy with the purchase.

No more back pain
Works great! Holds wood steady. Kept reading how difficult it was to put together. Keep reading the reviews, someone posted excellent instructions in the comment section.

It works well.
Solid sawbuck but one of the holes on the support beams was ill drilled as the hole is on the inside not on the outer face. But all other holes line up nicely. Seems to work just fine with the 1 bolt not being able to be attached. I might drill a new hole to set the bolt and nut. Found this out after it was completely assembled. Directions came ripped FYI. IKEA style instructions.

Works and appears to be Exactly as advertised.
I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Very Heavy Duty and Light-weight at the same time. Works perfectly to hold your logs for cutting. Folds up easily and takes up only a couple inches of thickness. I know most demos show someone putting one log on it at a time, but I pile it up full and just start cutting so I can cut many logs at same effort. Holds lots of weight. I can easily fill it until I can not pile logs any higher, and it never flexes. Remember it's designed so you do NOT cut anything in the center....even though we all do to save time. Just be careful to not push down too hard or when the chainsaw cuts thru the logs you will hit the metal rack and wear out your chain. It appears complicated to build and I do not think the instructions are the best, but there are videos on the internet that make it so easy to figure out. I built it in my computer room while playing/pausing the video. Took about 20-30 minutes total without rushing. I highly recommend. I hesitated for a couple years because of the price. Kicking myself now that I realize how nice this product makes cutting wood up. Good Luck.

AWFUL instructions, poor quality hardware, missing tools
This better work like a champ because it was a pain to assemble. Kudos to those of you who didn’t find this a challenge. “Instructions” are terrible drawn pictures. (I can assemble IKEA products). The hardware is poor quality (see photo). The two wrenches that were supposed to be included weren’t in the package. (The listing states the wrenches aren't included but the packing list includes two wrenches.) From other reviews, I expected some difficulty but this experience exceeded my expectations. Completion ended up taking two long sessions. The first round was extended because I had to go to the hardware store and buy more bolts. Save yourself some time and buy five 2” M6 hex head bolts before you get started. I managed to snap two of the supplied bolts and bend two more. This was before I even started to tighten things. The wrenches on the packing list were missing. I rummaged through my tools to find two 10mm wrenches (most of my wrenches are standard). I was only able to find one 14mm and had to use pliers to hold the head of the bolt while I turned the nut. I contacted the company as soon as I discovered the wrenches were missing. I haven’t heard back from them after three days. I finally got this put together, and foldable, after a boatload of trial and error (lots of error), by studying the pictures on the box. Only finger tighten all bolts until the assembly is successfully completed and the saw buck folds. Be very careful moving it with the bolts loose. If you are using the original bolts, they can bend easily. Don’t lock down the bolts that attach the legs and the middle support at the joint. That makes folding/unfolding very stiff. (There really should be washers at those joints.) I only got this because my husband never met a piece of prospective fire wood he didn’t covet. I don’t want my chainsaw chain cutting into cement or dirt because the wood is being cut on, or near the ground and I sure don’t want my yard cart damaged because it is being used as a saw horse. I’ll update this review when I use the saw buck. UPDATE: I finally used this today. It is sturdy. It supported heavy Pinion limbs. They stayed in place while I used my chain saw to cut them. It was easy to use.

Assembly Instructions!?!?
Based on way too many reviews, the assembly instructions for this log sawhorse are next to useless. Other than that, it appeared this sawhorse would be worth purchasing. I took those reviews about the assembly Instructions as a challenge and made my purchase. Ironically most men approach assembly of items from the standpoint of "I don't need no stinking Instructions!" Yeah right. "If all else fails, read the instructions." Well, these Instructions are strictly a pictoral, nothing to read. I'm in my 70s with some age related cognitive disfunction. Still, I had no problem interpreting what I needed to do to put this together and before you know it, it was fully assembled. You need to be willing to take the time to study what you are looking at and this is very doable. No Utube how to videos necessary. If you need things spelled out for you and have no patience, this may not be your best choice. Then again you'll be missing out on what appears to be a well designed good quality log sawhorse.

Exellent product and very well made.
Love this thing. I was fortunate enough to get some free cut up firewood that was to wide to fit in my fireplace. I tried several different ways to cut the logs in half with no luck. I bought this and put it together and it works perfect. It holds the logs in place while you cut through. Just one word of warning. You need to put some kind of padding on the rail that fits under where the logs are placed. If you use a chainsaw and cut through the log it's easy to hit the metal rail and ruin your chain.

Good product, directions are laughable
Holds up nice, but directions could be the focus of a comedy sitcom episode
