I'm 6', about 250#, 57yrs old. Active, but pudgy.This is my first pair of wool socks. I'm pleasantly surprised at their comfort and coolness. The quality seems to be decent (used to cheap socks though). The toe piece (put on last) is comfortable.Con: Though you can wash them, you have to dry low air. I'm a bachelor middle-income man used to buying clothes that are "toss in washer, move to dryer, DONE" without over-sorting or anything "fancy." A woman friend suggested I buy a pantyhose wash bag and wash in there.After around 8 washings I started forgetting to put them in the bag, so I started drying them. They're fluffier now (more wooly) but still soft. This probably comes as no surprise to people who are more patient with laundry and used to the hassle of special handling.After wearing them about weekly for around 4 months, they don't really stay up all that well. I mean, they're "OK." If you wear OTC socks regularly (dress or sports) these will probably stay up just as well as your others. Me? I'm still hunting for better, yet affordable, socks. I will probably buy a few more pairs of these, since they are my single pair of OTC dress socks and they DO feel good.They deserve 4 stars for quality for the price.---Edit 5 years later. I wear a pair probably an average of once every 2 weeks (since I have other socks as well). It's time to start throwing some away. Wearing out, top band getting loose.I came back to this product this morning to update my review and buy more, if they're still for sale. I didn't realize wool socks would be such a great idea...but it is.

I am retired so I don't wear suits every day. I thought I'd just wear Walmart dress socks. Bad idea. I love these socks. Comfortable...Stay up. They breath. Quality wool.

Good quality, but far too snug at the top

Very nice fit and comfort. They stayed up and handled the wash/dry cycle very well. I would buy more pairs, but they're just a little too expensive.

These seem like quality socks and won't droop down to your ankles in a embarassing manner.I say "seem" because I've not worm them more than four times, but have never experienced and discomfort or unwelcome falling down. Do yourself a favor and don't put them through your dryer. It will shorten their life and probably shrink them. They're wool, treat them as such and they will reward you.

I bought 12 pair in April. I try to rotate them, so let's say I wear the same pair less than once a week.Socks are washed once a week. I have had these socks for no more than 24 weeks, so they have been worn and washed perhaps 20 times. Three socks have developed holes in the toes. The product says they have reinforced heel and toe, but I don't see any evidence of that. I have worn over-the-calf Merino wool socks for at least 30 years with very little problem. I have to throw them out due to old age, not holes. I liked Nordstrom socks, but recently they discontinued brown. I tried Bombas and like them, but they discontinued the wool blend. I think they may be selling them again. Boardroom feel nice, and I like the ribbing, but I can't replace them every six months.

As a groom you have to make sure everything is top notch for your big day so I researched the best dress socks for a tux and came across Boardroom Socks. Boy oh boy I have never worn a better pair of socks. My feet were kept comfortable and dry the whole day and then some in scorching New Jersey July weather. If you know anything about that you know! I would recommend wearing these socks any time any where. They’re American made which is an extra perk I have no problem paying extra for. Get these socks!

Great socks but I prefer them more snug !!
