Exo TerraSilk Terrarium Plant, Medium, Abutilon

I purchased this ExoTerra Abutilon Silk Jungle Plant w. Suction cup (medium size) for my two juvenile iguanas. If you have Iguanas then you have noticed they love hiding and climbing in/on jungle leaves and plants. This product meant my expectations as far as strength of the suction to my terrarium walls it is holding the weight of my two baby's perfectly. I ordered medium size so that they can mature and still be able to utilize the vines. The texture of the leaves is exactly what you should expect from any of these products a smooth surface. The vine part however looks as of it could potentially come apart. If it does I'll update my review as for now it seems just fine. The color is very realistic as one would want to mock the iguanas natural surroundings to ensure happiness of their pet. I have no complaints so far with the product and would recommend it to anyone with an iguana, also the price was far more affordable then the options you have in stores locally. A must have lizard care item.

I bought this to strip the leaves from to use in a craft project. A "jungle" leaf and bud flower crown for Ren Faire. It worked out perfectly. I'm sure reptiles or whatever would like these leaves too.

Nice looking, soft artificial plant. They seem fairly durable, too. But i discovered that the two ends of the “stem” of this plant have sharp exposed wire tips. I covered these with a nice glob of hot glue, to make sure my snake doesn’t cut herself on them.It wasn't just this single item that had the problem. I also purchased the Exo Terra Ficus Silk Plants, large and small (from a different seller), and they both had exposed wire tips on the stems. I just coated them with hot glue and they’re good to go.Otherwise the plants are pretty to look at, and make good cover so your animals don’t feel so exposed.Just an FYI: if you buy artificial plants for your pets, inspect them well.

My ball python loves this plant more than any of his others. The suction cup is strong enough that it hasn’t moved despite him climbing the plant and hanging from it (he’s still small though, only about 2 ft). It’s easy to clean too.

I have them in all my reptile snake terrariums...... great hung on sides or using for ground cover......

I would of liked the suction cup to work but it doesn’t at all so that was unfortunate! However it still looks ok on the ground

I’ve had these silk plants before years back, they were excellent then and are still excellent now. It was nice to redo our fish tank and these were a perfect addition! My cichlids love to hide amongst the soft leaves. I just gave them a quick rinse in my sink and in the tank they went. Great product!
