Softball and Baseball Glove Lace Kit

this worked really well. the needle is very high quality and the lace stayed in it the entire time re stringing my glove. I found a great you tube video to show me how to do it. it was easy and I feel great about the repair.

It’s exactly the right size and fit. The color is great. Definitely a better value than going to most stores. It was a great thickness and it looks like it’ll be very durable.

I have used this lace, in several different colors and it has been great. I have completely re-laced several gloves and I recommend this to everyone. Higher quality lace than the ones you buy at the sporting goods store. The needle is pretty thick, you may want to get one with a smaller diameter.

Overall, this did pretty well. The lace is a little thick for the needle it comes with. The lace kept pulling out of the needle, even when I tried cutting it at different angles and making sure to try to thread it in. I relaced my son's glove and it got the job done. Not bad, but could be just ever so slightly thinner without pounding it out.

Good quality material. Was able to use to patch the webbing between fingers on my daughters a2000 glove. She liked the style choice with the color and the needle that came with was easy to use for threading.

I'd wanted to more permanently repair my 38 year old (!) Rawlings glove, that I've used a ton with my sons for the last couple years. I was sick of coming up with interesting temporary knots and fixes, but also didn't want to pony up $300 or whatever for a comparable quality new glove. So I'd originally bought the OTHER kind of lace puller gadget kit (not this one) along with some lace, at a sporting goods store. That was really pretty tough to use, and this was even on really the easiest stuff...like, just the lacing that joins the fingers to each other, super easy to get at the holes and runs. SO...I'd kind of given up on going further, cause if that was hard, the other areas were gonna be brutal. But then I REALLY started ripping out laces, and all my old knots, important ones, what was actually holding the web on, so now the glove was officially unusable (dangerous, lol). I decided to try this kit, the one I'm reviewing here, the giant 'needle' thing, to PUSH the lacing through and not pull, like the other. THIS IS TREMENDOUSLY EASIER AND MORE EFFECTIVE. I wound up using up all the lace that came with, and then actually ordered more, to replace every bit of lacing on the whole glove. Which was interesting...had to turn the thing inside out to do a portion of it...but really it became this fun project for me and my son. And the result is a glove that feels kinda like new again, cause the leather itself is all still pretty great, and now all the shiny, sharp new laces. You know. Anyway. Buy this product with confidence. The giant needle thingie works amazingly well.

Easier to maneuver while installing the laces on to the glove. Laces are smooth and flexible; not stiff like others. Would buy again!
