Quick-Attach T-Strap for Anchoring Tents, Canopies, Tarps by Ind Tools

I've downsized all my camping gear to eliminate bulk in the truck when I go out. Picked these up to use with a lightweight SilNylon tarp and they ROCK! No more huge hooks like on the typical bungee cords.I haven't had them for long so, for now, they get 5 stars. There are staples in these that I suspect could be a problem down the road. First of all they may not be stainless steel and subject to rusting. Second, I'm curious how long staples can hold a bungee cord in place. If any of this winds up affecting their performance, this review will definitely be adjusted accordingly

These quick attach clips are awesome. I just got a new waterproof boat cover and the standard straps that come with the cover are very cumbersome, and time consuming to use. These clips make the job easy, quick and they are secure enough to hold down my cover in the worst weather. I used the T end to put on the strap holder of the cover, and the clip end to wrap around the frame of my trailer. So easy even my kids can do it for me!

The design of the T-Strap is perfect for anchoring a tarp to a fence (my use). It keeps the tarp tight enough to keep the sun/rain out without threatening to rip the tarp.But, it would be a better design if the had a loop on the other end that could be tied off completely. For a tent, I would worry about it slipping.

These are delicate-looking, but very strong bungees. We have lots of the 10"-type, springy bungees with the tiny brass hooks and a huge knot to hold the hook on each end. But the "Quick-Attach" are 12", have a stronger tension cord and no knots. These just look so much neater, too. The slender hook securely connects--kinda snaps--onto its bungee or onto another of the same bungee for more length. A very good buy!

These are ok but use care. I tried to use to tie up a sleeping pad and the T end has a very sharp point that cut into the foam of the pad. OK to tie down a tarp on a truck but maybe not for not delicate operations.

I was using it to hold tarp down and initially I thought it was great as it fits easily and quickly and no need to tie knots. However, after a strong wind gust and an attempt to tighten the tarp it was on, the strap pulled out of the hook bases. Several of them did it and I quickly replaced the remaining ones on the tarp with other devices to keep them latched. I can't trust these if you need some tension in the strap (I am talking perhaps 2 to 3 pounds - not a lot).

These things are great, I wish I thought of it!! They are relatively light duty, but really easy to work with. Many times, just what you need when covering a load on a trailer or something. Overall, they seem like a really good idea and a good value.
