This works very well with my trigger !The edges of aluminum loop are sharp from the factory and a fraction larger than the clasp I.D of my trigger. I used a small tube of sandpaper and rounded the inner edges slightly.Strong, smooth and predictable release now.Over 300 shots so far. I may never need The Spare !

I have three bows - no problems with any of them. This is a huge improvement over string d-rings - or none at all. No failures, better consistency, less string wear. I'm guessing maybe (maybe) there's a DYI problem, but I've been setting up my own bows for 30 years. I "may" know what I'm doing. Others may not.

This is a well-made device at a reasonable price. But I give it 4 stars for coming with no instructions. It consists of four main parts: Left side, right side, and two 'gaskets'... as well as the four screws. There's no information on which side the single gasket goes.I recommend attaching this device over a white cloth, preferably on a large table or the floor so you don't lose one of those tiny screws... because they provide no additional screws in case of predictable loss (another reason for the 4 stars: no extra screws). Fortunately there are two of these in the package so when I accidentally dropped a screw and couldn't find it, I was able to salvage from the second unit until I was able to later locate the lost screw.I recommend using a touch of archery glue on the screw holes to hold the screws firmly in place once assembled. Once assembled it worked well enough. I appreciate that it has two screw holes on each side to provide adjustment for differing nock sizes. It fit my release properly, so performed as expected.

I really like these. They will make me feel much more secure shooting my compound bow. I was always wondering if the D-loop tie would come loose. I used one on my current bow, and I will put one on my future bow, too. Shipping was fast & packaging was fine! Thank you!

This is a great choice for younger children—fun, easy to use, and age-appropriate. However, more experienced archers or older users may find it too basic or lacking in performance.
