Extremely comfortable, good noise reduction.
As advertized, these ear plugs provided better clarity than normal foam earplugs. My ear canals are rather sensitive, and small, however, I can still wear these all day without any discomfort. Easy to clean, and provide sufficient noise reduction to protect your hearing in nearly any situation you'll encounter (I work in a ships engine room, these are sufficient). Additionally, these are not foam, they're rubber outer with little plastic rod inserts. The construction may seem stupid, but it's durable, easy to clean, and easy to remove. If you'll be taking these on and off often, however, I suggest investing in a nice little metal case, the provided one is cheaply made, and will not survive the inside of your pants pocket for long.

Awesome!
Got these for my wife to wear at concerts. The earplugs themselves are awesome and work GREAT! The “carry case” it comes with is absolute garbage though, but that’s literally my only complaint.

I got these to protect my ears when my amp has to be turned up loud in a band setting. If you've ever heard a tube amp through efficient speakers with a healthy amount of mids and highs, you know how painful it can be. I use a lot of ear plugs, mostly silicone and foam, and these are the most comfortable I've ever used. I couldn't believe the results at first. Even with my amp cranked to trouser-flapping mode, it was like listening to an iPod set comfortably. I'd pull one plug out just to check if it was really cranked, and the loudness would be painful and overwhelming. Earplug back in, comfortably quiet and crystal clear again. Not only does it protect my ears, it keeps me calm and relaxed when I'm performing. It "tames the beast" and lets you hear what you're playing without all that added noise.

Comfortable and Does A Pretty Good Job of Blocking Out Noise
I've been using the Hearos Earplugs Rock 'n Roll Series over a year now. And I can tell you from my experience that these are the best earplugs that I have ever used. Whether you are using them for a concert, mowing the lawn or just trying to get some sleep, these little suckers keep out a good portion of noise out. If I had to describe sound reduction, I would say these ear plugs are the equivalent of putting your index fingers in your ears but more comfortable. Prior to these, I use to use the cheap foam cyclinder shape earplugs. Those were really crappy because they never wanted to stay in. When I got these a year ago, the price was less than 9 dollars for a pack of 3. At the time of the review, I paid just a little over 11 dollars for a pack of 3. The price has gone up a little.Update (9/30/2012) - These earplugs are now selling for 5 dollars a pair from Amazon which I think is highway robbery. If you can, wait until the price drops, if not, get something else. I like these ear plugs but at this price can't recommend.

Comfortable, but not impressed with the noise reduction.
Note: as of this writing Amazon had the wrong photo. This is the Rock and Roll series which is a rubber-ish cone. The photo shows the Hi Fidelity plugs, which look completely different.I bought these to reduce wind and motor noise on my motorcycle. I wear a full helmet, but wind noise is bad with this helmet. I wanted something that would save my ears, while at the same time not completely block out all noises, like some foam plugs do. I want to be able to hear some traffic noise, like a car horn, or hear a passenger even if they have to shout. These claim to have a noise reduction ratio of 22 which is somewhere in the middle for NRR ratings. Some hearing protectors have NRRs in the low 30s. These work OK, and do block some noise, but I was disappointed by the ability to block wind noise. It was still pretty loud at higher speeds. Loud enough to cause ear damage over time I suspect. I'll need to find something with a higher NRR rating or one that does a better job blocking those type of sounds sounds. They are very comfortable and easy to apply. They are "washable." They come in a little plastic case that is handy, but is made of very thin plastic with a cheesy latch, so I'm not convinced it will hold up very long. After a couple of uses the little plastic center that helps you push the plug in fell out. You can still insert the plug without it, but it's harder. These plugs may work well for certain applications, but I need to find something else. I'm still on my quest to a good noise reducer to use will riding.Summary. Comfortable. Dissappointed by noise reduction for motorcycle use. One plug came apart after a couple of uses. Cheap case. I'm giving them an average rating.

I bought 2 for a Taylor Swift concert
I bought these for my girlfriend and I, for when we attended the Taylor Swift concert. I gotta say, these are worth way more for protecting your ears!! When I took off the earplugs for just a few seconds, and I swear I almost got permanent hearing damage! I'm glad I bought these for both of us to attend a super packed show full of girls screaming out loud lol.

Not as good as the old plastic ones
They don’t cancel noise like they used to and the fit isn’t as secure as the older plastic version.

hearos - rock 'n roll
These are nice, easy to use and work as advertised... although i mostly use this for motorcycle riding, to cut down on wind noise, they still allow me to hear what's going on around me with out the 'muffled in you head' sensation.the few times i've used them in a bar like setting for live music, they've performed just as well. i can hear the music and it seems like hearing the person next to you is easier too... thumbs up.

TERRIBLY Over priced
The Hearts earplugs themselves are okay. They work. But they are not worth $30. After I bought the product, I found the exact same product at cosmo music store. If you buy the product in the store it's about $6 before taxes. If you order them online, it's $18 with shipping included. I should have done a more thorough search before putting in the order.

Good product
These are great for me, you can push them in further for more attenuation. Not as good as the old beige ones unfortunately, but I can't seem too get them anywhere.

They function as advertised, comfort is ok
Not the most comfortable but these do exactly as advertised. I recently saw a band at a larger venue than I usually go to, -- a place that usually hosts loud rave-esque music that booked a band. The PAs were way way way too loud. I had these and a pair of downbeats and the hearos were by far the best pair for that kind of setting where the sound guy loves low end and just must be deaf. I didn't have to adjust them too many times. I'll absolutely keep both pairs on me. These are heavy duty which is good (but sometimes too good). Downbeats are absolutely more comfortable in my case/ear canal
